Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Tucson

You get two kinds of service here; 5 star, everything was made in a time efficient manner, the customer service was expectable to excellent, and most importantly - the meal was delicious and prepared correctly (the reason we continue to go back despite:,) the second kind of service: -5 (that's right, negative five!,) Where the one shake and burger we ordered somehow have the people in the drive-thru, behind us, who ordered AFTER US, getting their 3 to 4 bags of food walked out and delivered to them so they can then turn out of the line and drive away. When we do finally get our food, it'll have been double or even triple the wait of others, it's almost ALWAYS wrong, and the employee is beyond rude. We will ask to speak to a manager who, aware of the ordeal obviously because it's AN ORDEAL, before we've the chance to even say anything or complain, is offering to fix the mistake and comp our meal. Half the time, the manager is also apologizing for the employees! We've been offered a comp meal 4 separate times and have accepted however, we never received the compensation...

Can someone please tell who the franchisee for this location is? I want to go to their house, get down on my knees, then beg them to fire the manager. This place always screws something up.

Do not waste your money or time trying to get the specialty soda drinks here, they will be wrong or made terribly EVERY SINGLE TIME. The picture below is supposed to be the buttery brew root beer. There's zero root beer syrup in there, just carbonated water. And whatever the buttery brew mix is, barely any of that. We also got a Sugar Cookie Dr. Pepper... it's a basic Dr. Pepper. They literally make ZERO effort at all at this location. That root beer has obviously been out of syrup for a long, Long, LONG time. But they just keep serving it. And this has been a constant problem at this location. Honestly it's probably time to make a complaint straight to Sonic, because the franchisee very clearly doesn't...

This location suffers from awful management and poor sercive. We were one of two cars at this location when we placed or order. 15 minutes later we had watched 3 other cars pull into the drive thru and leave with their orders. There was only one other car waiting for an order when we placed ours! All we ordered was 2 breakfast burritos. Assuming we had been forgotten, we called the kitchen again. The employee who answered told us they were busy because there was only 2 people working on a Sunday at 9am. Neither employee could tell us how much longer our 2 burritos would take, so we cancelled our order and went to McDonald's instead.

This isn't the first time I've seen this location severely understaffed, and other reviews are pretty consistent with our experience today. Get a decent manager who can hire and keep...
