I live in Cottonwood and accidentally ordered from the Subway on Craycroft and Speedway in Tucson because I was last in Tucson when I ordered from Subway. As soon as I paid, I clicked on Contact Restaurant and pressed 2 to cancel my order. It rang and rang until finally I got a fast busy signal. I tried again but before I could speak the person disconnected me. I tried again and was told that there was no way he could void or cancel my order. If he did he would get fired. He told me to do it on the App but I have never found a place to do it on the app. Usually the worker has done it for me. I asked him to look at his app and tell me how to do it. He said he doesn’t eat at Subway he only works there…so he doesn’t have the app. He said his manager had just left to go on vacation for the week. So I asked to speak with someone else but he was the only person working. So next thing I know he said he voided my order, I wouldn’t be charged for it and that a better attitude would go a long way. Then he hung up. I have to agree. Had he had a more agreeable attitude when I first asked him to void it, we could have ended the conversation much sooner. Because the Subway app defaults to your last location, this happens when I travel. I have never had an issue with an employee before. They just laugh with me and they void it. Read moreHow does the saying go? Don't judge a Subway by its cover? I'm always driving past this particular Subway yet reluctant to actually walk in and place in order. Not because it's Subway, I've always liked this restaurant. No it was this particular Subway I'd avoid for a couple reasons. First, the reviews on Yelp and elsewhere made this Subway specifically it sound very unprofessional and unappealing. Second, the idea that being open until 3am always made me wonder if quality was sacrificed due to the convenience. All speculation of course, and none of it could be more misleading. Finally, I've given this place a shot and it was a good thing I did. Because now I can say with confidence this is one of the best Subways I've been to here in Tucson. The appearance is nothing spectacular, it's simple yet clean. But it is the staff that make this place work and make you come around again and again. There are a few employees I have yet to meet, but the 2 I continue to run into are Tommy and Joey. Young guys with a great attitude and willingness to do the best that they can to make a customer feel welcome comfortable within their restaurant. Many times I've run into employees that give the impression of inconvenience when adding veggies to your sandwich. Read moreShould of known it was going to be a BAD experience when I walked in to the door. There was 1 employee working and instead of greeting me " welcome to subway" or what ever they say when you walk in the door she said " It's going to be a second I have to go to the bathroom". Understanding that she probably has Ben the only one working for about 6 hours I said no problem. As she came back she began to wash her hands in the sink behind the register , I noticed she didn't use soap she didn't even wet her hole hand with water, again didn't say nothing I was being understanding, mayb ruff day... She started to make my sandwiches anything I asked for was a " Sorry I haven't had time to cut that up" 😡 I said " no problem " again me being understanding as I payed I was looking around and began to notice there wasn't no spots clean . NOT 1 table I politely asked for a rag to clean it my self but the Manager insisted she was going to do it as she walked to the back. I waited 15 minutes before anyone notice my presents. As I grab a cup of soda I walk to the soda machine, every Soda was empty except for the lemonade I asked her to fix it her reply was " I haven't had time" As I start to clean up the soda area which was full of cup tops I was looking around on the floor then noticed there was straw rappers napkins and bread crumbs Everywhere!
