EDITED TO ADD 2ND EXPERIENCE
Had coupon for b1g1 free that was mailed out for grand opening. Coupon was valid until 8/23. Opening was delayed til 26th. On opening day I brought the coupon and was told by girl directing traffic that the coupons were good thru end September due to opening being late and not able to notify customers about coupon. Double checked at drive thru window and was given same information by person there. Went today 9/2 to use coupon and was told they expired 8/31. Explained to people at drive thru that wasn't info I had been given and they were unable to honor the coupon or the words of their staff. Reached out to customer service on the website and was told my coupon should have had expiration date of 8/31 printed on it. Which it didn't. But today lady took my coupon and said invalid and didn't honor it and so obviously she kept it and threw it away. So no way to show what my coupon said. So if anyone else received a coupon in their mail for grand opening, I hope you were able to use it and that you were given correct information by staff about expiration date. Expected better customer service from a local company (even if originally from Phx area, still an AZ company.) Especially since my burrito on opening day was made incorrect and they were good and quick about correcting. I see though that the customer service must have expired on 8/31 along with my coupon.
Went for grand opening. First time to one of their stores, I've seen them around Phoenix but never been. Line was long (opening day with freebies) but the staff was great at directing traffic and getting everyone through quickly. I ordered the traditional burrito $2.99,(eggs, potatoe, cheese, bacon, side salsa) without egg and caprese salad with chicken $5.74 and green mango tea $1. The burrito was huge (picture doesn't do it justice but the size of my hand) and wasn't scrawny because I'd gotten it without egg as I've had happen at other burrito places. A good amount of bacon too! The potatoes could have used some salt but the burrito was very good. I actually forgot about the salsa so ate it with some chips when I got home. Pretty tasty! Haven't tried the salad but it looks amazing and they don't appear to skimp on the meat. Staff is super friendly and fast also, especially considering how busy...
Read moreThis is my favorite drive-thru establishment ever as it is all salad, salad, wraps, and healthy options. No greasy, fried, junk food. I've been a regular customer going two to three times a week, as well as other times just to get an iced coffee or tea for a number of years now. There is no indoor seating, but there is a walk up window to pick up your online order, or, you could order there if you don't have a car to use the drive through.
I have been a regular at one location in particular, primarily because of the friendly customer service there and have become rather loyal to that particular spot. They know me by name at the microphone, and even before I say my name they know my voice! (That's the Speedway & Craycroft spot).
The salads are enormous with plenty of ingredients, I love the dressings that they make, which come on the side, always, any small sealed plastic packet that is included inside your salad container. The current soup that's on the menu, the Green Chili Chicken soup is absolutely delicious and I hope it stays forever, as is the new Green Revival juice drink, which is one of my favorite things ever! I have ordered a lot of those things, and will continue to do so as long as they're on the menu.
The salad wraps are huge, very filling, and I am impressed with how much they can cram in one wrap. Both the chicken and tofu which are the protein options, and you can choose whichever you like, are marinated in the same flavor, which though I don't have a recipe for, tastes like there is some Asian gingery thing happening. Quite delicious!
Their prices are really great (salads are 48 oz. and $7.75), and a salad of the same size in any sit-down restaurant would cost you literally twice as much. I love their iced coffee which is only $2 for 24 oz, and their lemonades & green teas are amazing! I'm a super fan of this chain and always will be, because not only is the food fresh and delicious and healthy, the service is always friendly...
