Viv's Cafe — Restaurant in Tucson

I visited Viv’s Cafe on 9/26/21 for the first time. No one greeted me when I walked in. I waited several minutes, as servers walked by me, but no one offered to help me. I was not in the line to pay the cashier, 2 customers in that line. There were open tables, but I wanted to sit outside, but didn’t know the process, so finally waited until the 2 customers paid their bills so I could at least ask the cashier if I could sit outside and get a menu. About the same time I asked a server if I could sit outside and asked for a menu. She told me to just go outside and someone would be there. I had to again wait even to see a menu. I know they are busy, but someone should address people as they come in the door. Food was good, but the server never once checked back on me, and I needed a to-go box, so had to go inside to get it. There are lots of good places to eat in Tucson, so not sure I’d go back. I still gave the server 20% tip, but I normally give more, hope they read this… and try harder to make people...

Well it's one of those cute, little, independently owned cafés that you just know that once they get to know you, they'll treat you better than family! After a little over a month, going there several times a week...... I'm STILL not there. Started going to Taco Giro across the street for breakfast. Viv's isn't bad -- isn't great -- unless they consider you a "regular". On several occasions I only saw the waitress when it was time to order and when I got my food. Period. My beverage and check were worked into those times as well. The guy next to me was offered coffee refills no less than 5 times and I couldn't wave the girl down to get in on...

I have worked for the fair for 13 years and as of recently that I have depended on eating at Viv's cafe not only have I ordered multiple things but when the traffic isn't high u don't get fresh food ie fries burgers etc as I watched them put old burgers back on the grill just to heat cheese and old fries and not only that I ordered the styrofoam containers and paid for it and asked for fresh fries I was not obliged even if I paid more and was treated as if I wasn't specific in the beginning not recommended at all to the people that work hard and want a meal because I work 12 to...
