Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Tulare

Only giving a one star because recently the service at this location has really dropped. It feels very rushed when trying to order and tonight my husband and I went to grab a quick bite after getting off work at 11 but we ended up waiting patiently at the order kiosk thru the drive thru for a good 5 mins. A employee finally came on but was very short and rude with us stating her system was down so they aren't taking orders. My husband and I were confused (keep in mind we both work retail so we understand issues arising with systems) but usually when a system crash that big happens shouldn't they leave a notice or cone blocking the drive thru so people don't wait? Also how is it that a system crashed that you can't take any orders? Would it be that hard to write down what the order is? And if it's card issue wise then we have cash. I don't know it seemed very rude and honestly I'm giving up on...

This Carl's Jr. (on Hillman in Tulare CA) provides excellent versions of Carl's Jr. (& Hardee's) standards - no scrimping, plenty of toppings on the burgers, hot salty fries, and cheerful prompt service. They also handle unforeseen stressors well - like the Coca-Cola supplier not showing up as scheduled (for days....), and having to tell customers they had no Coca-Cola soft drinks, only the flavored teas and related drinks. I have visited this Carl's Jr before, and their Original Coca-Cola mix was always excellent; so if their supplier can get their delivery schedule back up to speed - all...

We purchased a big meal, but decided to let the children share a drink. So I asked one of the employees for a water cup so the children could share a drink. I poured the drink into the water cup from the purchased cup and 2 minutes later another employee said we couldn't do this and said she would need to take the water cup back from us. So I poured the drink back into the purchased cup and handed the employee the water cup which she threw away. I am moving out here to Tulare and I know now that I will not be coming/going to this Carl's Jr location again. Just wanted to share my experience...
