Hardee's — Restaurant in Tullahoma

I always wonder why nobody ever eats at Hardee’s after breakfast. Tonight I see why, I went in at 7:45PM and ordered my meal… it was the new chicken tender BLT and it took a few extra minutes because they cook the chicken fresh. I’m fine with that…I sit down and start eating my delicious sandwich and the front counter employee comes over and tells me I have to leave!!! It was 8 o’clock and he needed to lock the doors. I needed about 3 minutes to finish my meal…I looked at him and said “you’ve got to be kidding?” He checked with the manager again (by phone) and he said “no, you have to leave. We lock up at 8!” Wow…what a knucklehead policy. Throw your customers out at 8 o’clock. Don’t let them finish their meal. Also…BOTH bathrooms were out of order and locked up. This place is a dumpster fire. Thank goodness we have another location that cares about their customers on the other side of Tullahoma. I will go there for my breakfast needs from now on…and do like everyone else does for dinner…go somewhere else….where they don’t have policy of throwing you out at 8:00pm on the dot if you are finished eating or not. We did not enjoy our visit at this location. We ordered our meal just fine, but the apparent manager or shift leader seemed to be having arguments with a couple of her employees in a manner that was uncomfortably loud and visible. The ketchup dispenser was also out, no one seems to have prepared for that, and the tables were not cleaned in the front of the store. It was pointless to get ketchup packets from the counter because of the scene that had just transpired behind the counters, and because two couples had just walked in and looked like they were waiting to have someone take their order - but no one was evident at the front of the counter anymore. Finally, our order took a long time to be filled. It was good when we got it but the mood was spoiled by then, we were only interested in getting out of there promptly. We won't return to this location. It was near our primary destination for the day. We'll continue to enjoy other Hardee's locations near our home which we do find neat, clean, professional, and...

I worked at a Hardee's when I was a kid, and a lot has changed with the demands of fast food being ready faster! Back in those days, the only thing heated in the microwave, were the "Hot ham 'n cheese" sandwiches. Also, back in those days, Hardee's hamburgers were about the last fast food hamburgers most people would choose! However, some years back, Hardee's merged with a popular California fast food company named "Carl's Jr." (which was my burger of choice whenever I frequented California). So now, what used to be the least desirable burger, has become one of the most desirable fast food burgers! Getcha one! This particular Hardee's had very friendly servers as well!
