This is now the fifth time in a row—yes, count it, fifth—that I have placed an order for Mike’s meatloaf and specifically requested no chili sauce. And, once again, I picked up my food only to find it, you guessed it, covered in chili sauce.
Last time, the manager, Christina, provided me with two $10 coupons for my trouble. I had no intention of using them, but as I’ve mentioned in previous reviews, my kids enjoy eating at Bricktown and convinced me to give it another shot. Unfortunately, this experience was no different. When I placed my order with Brittany, I explicitly asked a second time to hold the chili sauce. Brittany reassured me, saying, "I got you, I even circled it." Yet, somehow, this crucial instruction never made it to the ticket (see attached).
Upon returning home and discovering the chili sauce again on the meatloaf, I called and spoke with the manager. She remembered me from my last visit and told me to come back, promising to take care of it. When I returned, they refunded the meatloaf, but I insisted on having my entire meal comped, to which they complied. However, I did not receive credit for the two $10 coupons, nor did I get the tip back that I gave Brittany for botching my order.
One-time mistakes happen. Twice, okay, it’s the restaurant business. But the fifth time? This is either sheer incompetence or intentional. Do not spend your money here unless you enjoy paying a premium for the wrong food. Kids be damned, it will take an act of God to get me to dine...
Read moreLate on the review but nonetheless, this Brewery was awesome. To start off the setting inside looks great. The staff was also great (shoutout to Dylan who served our table and Jace aka 4th born Hanson). Whoever happened to be making drinks behind the bar did an awesome job. Im not a big drinker myself but I tasted a sip of my fiances drink and knew I had to get one for myself. The appetizer we got was the chips and three dips being queso, salsa, and guacamole each of which was flavorful and delicious. Moving onto our dinners and my friend and I had a hard time deciding what we were going to actually get. Both of us torn between getting a pizza or getting a burger as my fiance had already settled on getting a bison burger. I went foe the pizza and my friend went for the burger after about 10 minutes of trying to decide. In a nice and timely manner our dinners arrived and I was met with a pizza that was much bigger than I thought itd be that looked outrageously good. As I looked up my friend was taking a bite of his burger and before he could even take more than a few bites he said, "Now thats how a burger should taste." Everything was great and I would highly recommend this place to anyone out on Brookside. Meals are a little on the higher side than average but every bit of the experience...
Read moreHusband said no pink in his burger, burger was pretty undercooked... he did not want to complain as my food was messed up as well. asked for no slaw or mayo on my sandwich and it came with both. Sandwich was sent back and they took the slaw off but left remnants of the slaw. Okay. But did nothing about the mayo under the sandwich. Asked for napkins to wipe it off. Was given some papertowels. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant so I dont know why it wasn't remade correctly immediately upon the first time I pointed out it was messed up. Waitress was nothing but nice and then offered it to be remade but at this point it was just too late... i feel bad for her as it seemed the cook just kept shoving the same sandwich back at her when they didnt fix it correctly. We’ve ordered through door dash before as well and food was made incorrectly. I enjoy the food at this place, just dont know if its worth the trouble getting what I actually ordered. I am not writing this review for vengeance, it was just sad to me that we were...
