A lady on here left what I feel is a dishonest review so I’m here to give my personal experience.

I’ve been going to Jara for just over two years (both locations) and have never been met with discomfort, animosity, or disrespect. In fact, even stylists who have never met me are pleasant and intentional. They all do a great job of getting to know their clients. Because of this, I’ve noticed so many repeatable clients over the last couple months.

This lady must’ve just been having a bad day. Understandable. The issue is, she decided to show her children that it is okay to act unprofessional and rude when things don’t go their way.

Danielle cuts my hair and has NEVER butchered it. Considering I have coarse and curly hair, that says a lot. She’s always made sure that I am satisfied with the finished product and has even offered to reschedule me if I don’t like the product which I’ve never had to do.

This is in no way intended to stir up a hostile situation however I think it’s important to clarify that MULTIPLE stylists within the salon agreed upon the same thing: that this lady has lost her mind.

I have been seeing Hayden for the better part of a decade now, so when he transitioned to Jara Herron, moving with him was a no brainer. I have been visiting the salon for about 2 years now every 7-8 weeks for foiling services. The salon staff is always incredibly accommodating upon arrival and the stylist assistants are great and seem to care just as much about your experience as the stylist does. I thought I had an appointment scheduled and they did not show one on the books, however, they were so quick to figure out how to accommodate me as quickly as possible and were able to get me scheduled same day. Pricing at this salon matches the level of service and quality provided. I work out heavily on a weekly basis, high intensity cardio, and even with that amount of sweat being output, my color ALWAYS holds up well and responds well in between appointments to my color shampoos/conditioners. I was content with my hair after I got it done a month or so ago but paid almost $400…but I was content with my stylist Ashton so I suggested my niece go there. She went and was told her hair would lift well and have some blonde in it. It barely changed to a lighter color. They charged her almost $400 too. So my niece stuck up for herself and asked for a refund or if they could fix it and get her hair the way they told her it would be done. Jara, the owner was ridiculously rude to my 20 year old niece basically calling her broke and said some more things. We enjoyed the hair stylist Ashton. But seeing the way the owner Jara treats her clients and calls them broke was a turn off. We will not be returning and I hope she realizes she cannot treat clients like that. When a client is told one thing and it doesn’t happen YOU should be the one to fix it.
