Impressed with the salsa… We were seated promptly when we entered, then greeted at the table by the server with chips salsa and water. We ordered our drinks and after a few minutes of looking over their large menu, placed our food order. The server checked on us frequently. Service Very Good They have hotter salsas, so be sure to ask for them. The winner of the salsa was, what I think is a mango habanero salsa. Delicious and had plenty of fire. I did the lunch special “Select Four Items.” Mine was a ground beef taco, guacamole, ground beef enchilada and a chicken tostada. I rarely order a tostada. But as it turned out this was my favorite item, especially when smothered with the fiery mango salsa. I ordered the enchilada with the red sauce. I really did not care for the red sauce. It tasted fine, however was more of a slightly sweet mole, instead of the red chili sauce I was hoping for. Next time cheese sauce. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal. My wife went for the Tacos de Carne Asada. She raved about them. The steak was perfectly cooked, well-seasoned and tucked in their home-made tortillas. I will come back to try them. They have an out-door dining area on the south side of the building that takes advantage of never-ending Oklahoma wind. If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" by Spike S. on Yelp. I've probably been there.

Casa Del Tequila Tulsa Ok. I use to like this place but last couple of times I went there, I've ended up with a headache & have learned they use MSG in their food. I have MSG allergic reaction along with millions of Americans. For 2 days I was sick. I had a migraine, vomiting, diarrhea, itching skin, especially my face & extreme fatigue. Missed 2 days of work. I won't be able to go back. Also the prices are ridiculous. One house margarita & chicken nachos was over $20. My sisters fancy margarita & lunch was over $30. My dad's beer & lunch was over $30 & they brought him a large beer without asking him which he wanted. He didn't finish half of it... wasted money. Lunch for 3 at a Mexican restaurant cost us $100 with tip. We all decided we won't go back until they stop using MSG & lower at least lunch prices.

Stopped in on a Friday night with friends and the place was jumping. Quickly seated and chips and individual salsa bowls were served. Drinks were ordered and made it to the table quickly. I went with a margarita special that ended up being a ‘pour yourself from this mixer’ and was 2-3 margaritas worth of drink. For dinner I went with carnitas, and they were tasty. One thing to note, our group was 8 or so people and a 15% gratuity was automatically added to our bill(s). Also for some reason, my bill ended up spilt... it meant my credit card was charged twice and I had to sign two slips. One slip was my meal and the margarita, and the other bill was my second drink - is not liquor/meal split, more random.

The food was insanely delicious 😋🤤 with huge portions we went for lunch and there was so much food their salsa and queso are amazing their chips are delicious I have to be careful with the chips and dip or I'm full before I get my food! Their fajitas my husband got the fajitas with steak chicken and shrimp and I tried it and the steak was so delicious one of the best pieces of steak I've ever had! The shrimp was not overcooked and that seems to be a new problem all these restaurants are overcooking the shrimp the waiter was curtious and professional and kept our drinks fresh there was so much food we had it again for dinner 🍽️🤤 since we went for lunch the bill was only $45 you can't beat that people we had steak chicken shrimp I had the fiesta burrito chicken with white cheese sauce it was huge with refried beans that had all kinds of delicious cheese melted on top the rice is to die for the guacamole 🥑 was out of sight! Definitely going back the only thing I have negative to say is that it was 🔥🥵 inside there I don't know if the Air Conditioner was not working but it was hot! Other than that I absolutely loved it the atmosphere was great and they have a beautiful fountain ⛲ inside it's really nice and not overly priced. God...

Always special when you experience a local restaurant .Hot afternoon first visit wonderful lunch. Greeted upon entering by general manager,co-owner Cuco Flores. By the time we started digesting the extensive menu we were served water w/lemon,basket of chips with 2 bowls of salsa and greeting by Francisco our server. My wife ordered a glass of Chardonay I selected a large draft Mexican beer. First mistake a cold 32 Oz cold stein. So on to the food. Small lunch mixed fajitas (ck & steak) with rice & beans. I selected from the make your own choices including 3 or four various items. Tamale w/white sauce, vegetables, charro beans. The word Teamwork is in full display . A controlled fast pace among the entire crew. Men's restroom was clean, sanitary oasis. Very Hot food arrived as ordered . Fresh, homemade flour tortillas w fajitas a plus. Second glass of Chardonay arrived by Francisco and I was still working on the large stein. Senor Flores stopped by to get our comments on his restaurant.Formally a favorite restaurant Cardigans has been transformed to the beautiful Casa del Tequilla. Great value, attentive employees, fresh ingredients a perfect recipe for a great meal. We...
