Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful restaurant, friendly staff.
Decided to eat at this place because we saw the sign. Beautiful building, with an immediate seating sign. When we pulled in and go inside we were greeted with a full restaurant and a line out the door. A thirty minute wait, not too bad on a Friday night.
Once we finally got to our seats, our wonderful server asked for our drinks and told us the specials. Once our server left, we were then sitting for about what felt like ten minutes before we got our drinks.
Appetizers, going over our menu we had a few questions. So we asked our server a few questions about the appetizers and mid question our server just left. No warning or word, just turned around and left.
After about ten more minutes or so, they came back with refills and we ordered our food.
The food looked amazing, the presentation, heck I got more fries than I have ever received at any restaurant! Wish I could say that wasn't the best part, but it was. The fries were pretty dang good. My burger on the other hand was bland, no salt or pepper bland. Other then the char from the grill every so often during chewing there was no other flavor. $14 burger and I expected a decent burger, not great or amazing just something more than okay. Hey, maybe burgers aren't their forte.
After the main dish is desserts right? Nope, when we were ordering for desserts the server walked away mid sentence, again.
With the food being bland, and our lackluster service, I won't be dining here again. With the price of the meals I could have bought a grill with charcoal, and grilled all of food we were served today and still had money left over. I'm usually not a stickler when it comes to price of meals or food, but I've had better and more food along with service for...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that left a lasting impression. The establishment, nestled in the heart of the city, offered a menu that was both innovative and comforting. The highlight of my meal was the Caesar salad, served with a croissant, and the main entrée of swordfish.
The Caesar salad was a delightful surprise. The lettuce was crisp and fresh, each leaf coated with just the right amount of dressing. The dressing itself was creamy and tangy, with a hint of garlic and anchovy that gave it an authentic Caesar flavor. The Parmesan shavings on top added a sharpness that cut through the richness of the dressing. The croissant served alongside was flaky and buttery, providing a nice contrast in texture.
The main entrée of swordfish was equally impressive. The fish was cooked to perfection - moist and flaky, with a slightly sweet flavor. The dish was served with a side of seasonal vegetables that were cooked just right, retaining their natural crunch and color.
The service at the restaurant was impeccable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that my dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to make recommendations based on my preferences.
In conclusion, this restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience. The food is thoughtfully prepared and presented, with a focus on quality ingredients and flavors. The service is top-notch, making you feel welcomed and valued as a customer. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic Caesar salad or want to try something more adventurous like swordfish, this restaurant is...
Read moreThey missed it again. Generally speaking it is good food and good service. This trip was not that. There were 5 in our party, drinks were ordered and pleasant conversation. The server was training another server and was in love with his own voice. When I placed my order of dynamite shrimp salad, I said "ALL DRESSINGS ON THE SIDE", repeated it in the process three different times. Even when he came back by, I again reiterated all dressings on the side even the shrimp dressing on the side. Well guess what came out totally drowned in dressings. Really? Even the couple with us said, "I think she ordered her dressings on the side"...it had already taken 30 minutes to get our food, they offered to remake it and to send the manager to our table. No, just leave it, I picked around the dripping stuff and sure enough next thing I know, this man is standing over me saying "I hear you are having a problem?" No, it's fine.... stood and insisted on another salad, a free dessert, no, no, and no. Like I said it's generally good, but when they miss it, they truly mess it up. If you want to know why I like the dressing on the side, the salad is huge, I can't eat it all at once. So I take the left over home and am able to enjoy the next day. Once the dressing is on, it's a...
