China King — Restaurant in Tulsa

This was without a doubt the worst Chinese food I've had in Tulsa since moving here over 25 years ago. From the moment we walk through the door, we were met with a scowling face from a very unhappy woman who was apparently the manager. The rest of the staff wasn't much better with customer service. The " waiter" did take our drink order promptly, but after that it was hard to unglue him from the baseball game on TV. Most of the food appeared to be fairly decent upon first glance, with the exception of a few items that looked to be there awhile, including an entire batch of chicken wings which were extremely dehydrated. As we begin to sample the food, we noticed that most of it was either dry or cold. I decided to take a closer look and sample a few more items. One item I was afraid to try was there fried rice. Fried rice is NOT supposed to be soggy. It was a apparent that their fried rice had been reheated. My guess is that it was leftover from the lunch service, or even the day before. I took a bite of the General Tso's chicken to discover a confusing variety of flavors, including pineapple. None of it was crispy, which should have been my first clue that it was reheated. My guess is that they take the leftover pineapple chicken and smother it with pepper sauce, and coin it as General Tso's chicken. We decided to pack up and leave with most of our food still on the table. Needless to say we will never come back. I just hope that we don't get sick and these people don't end up killing someone in the process of trying to save a few bucks. Worst ever. I arrived to eat lunch with my mom. There was an older man outside on the side of the building asking for change to get some food. I told the guy that I would buy his lunch if he wanted to go in and eat. He asked if I could buy his to go. I walked into the restaurant and immediately the lady at the counter started to get loud and very rude with the guy who clearly has a mental deficiency. I stepped up and told the lady that I was going to buy his lunch to go. The lady behind the counter then started telling the guy "get your food and leave". I told her that she didnt need to be rude, his meal was bought and paid for and he is now a paying customer. The lady kept getting loud with the man. I then told her she needed to stop. She did, as the guy was getting his food that was paid for another lady (the hostess of the restaurant) came over and started to get rude with thw guy who was trying to bag up his food because no one would give him a bag, plastic ware or even a fortune cookie that all paying customers get. My mom got involved and told the lady that she doesnt know the mans situation and needs to stop badgering him. My own brothers have been out of work for about 3 years. The staff were very rude here to a paying customer. They say its bcuz he begs for money outsids of their restaurant. I say at least he is coming inside when he has enough to eat here. I am disgusted with the way the staff here...

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! This place is absolutely disgusting. It is rundown, the bathrooms are filthy, the ice cream machine is broken, I was seated at a table that was clearly dirty and the waiter didn’t bother to wipe it off. The food is not edible. buffet tables full of low quality, slop that has been sitting out for hours. Hard as a rock chicken and shrimp and disgusting vegetables and fruit salad that has been out for probably all summer long. The owner did not care that I let her know the food was poor quality and you will be charged for every little thing. The dinner price for dine in adult is now $14 plus they will charge you a service charge just to pay with debit card- it’s ridiculous. I have no idea how this place is still open. There were so many health code violations. If this place looks as disgusting and dirty as it did in the dining room, I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like. I feel sick just eating the soup. Anyone who has their taste buds intact and 20/20 vision can see that this is not the place for you to eat- not by yourself, not with your family, not if you’re not trying to get sick and literally be bamboozled out of $14 plus service charge, plus tip, to eat at the most disgusting Chinese buffet ever. If I could give this place zero stars I would. BEWARE!!!!...
