Oh my goodness... History is an amazing thing.. I can't believe the suffering and death of so many innocent people, just because of who they are.. I didn't get a chance to go into the museum. It was closed today. But the park around it is beautiful. Moses was buried in a valley. When I walked through the park, I couldn't help to think about that. I went inside the main office to ask a question. And ended up talking with a Guy who worked there. He was very informative about so many events in the human world. Thank you, Charlie for your time.

I was joyfully surprised to find that the Sherwin Museum of Jewish Art is as rich in Jewish culture as Oklahoma is rich in oil. A beautiful refuge of Jewish history and the Jewish people. Between the Holocaust exhibit, Purim mask contest, and Jewish life exhibits, anyone can learn so much about what is is like to be Jewish and what it has been like to be Jewish. I highly recommend this museum to anyone in the area that has not already been

The museum chronicles the history and culture of the Jewish people. There are very old artifacts throughout. In addition to the ancient artifacts, they have stunning virtual reality apps near the lobby that showcase synagogues around the world. They also have several amazing Torahs, which are old biblical scrolls, usually in ornate cases.

This museum exceeded my expectations. My daughter and I thought it would be a small museum but no ... this is a world-class museum with wonderful, moving and fascinating exhibits. It's on par with any Jewish museum in New York, where I am from, as well as with the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC and the Jewish Museum in Philadelphia, which is a Smithsonian museum. There is so much to see -- the stained glass windows, the Chagall art, the Holocaust section, the Jewish lifecycle section, the "Jews Who Rock," the Ken doll exhibit, the exhibit about the Jewish aviators, and my personal favorite, the history of Jews in Oklahoma.

We were also happy to meet Bella and Sarah from the JCC, who explained to us about the "Tulsa Tomorrow" program to encourage young Jewish men and women to move to Tulsa. There is such pride in the small but mighty Tulsa Jewish community. Hmmm, if I were in my 20s, I'd move to Tulsa!

We were so happy to have experienced this amazing museum and encourage everyone, no matter what your...

I don't know if it's just me but I never hear about this place, and that's an absolute crime! Their exhibit spaces are very well laid out and informative. Their focus on Jewish art gives you the chance to really dive in and focus on its rich history and culture. Their Holocaust exhibit was incredibly well done. If you're worried about the "shock factor" that some other exhibits on that topic might contain, you won't have to in this exhibit. It was informative and very well laid out with lots of supporting ideology and history to help build a larger view of the atrocities that occurred those...
