Schedule is 50/50 if theyāre open or not. I love this newer location of the Taco Buenos in town, but it always seems like a 50/50 shot on whether or not theyāll be open for dining room or even drive-thru.
Today, as I pulled up to pick up take out around 7:05pm, two lady employees walked outside, looked me straight in the eye and kept walking with their drive-thru headsets still on. No big deal until I get inside. There was literally nobody working the front register, drive-thru or the cook line.
I waited about 10 minutes, after hearing what sounded like somebody washing dishes in the back, and then a guy came up front and took my order at 7:16pm. Those two ladies left him in the store to handle the register and make the food for dining room and drive-thru all by himself.
As Iām writing this review, the ladies just now returned at 7:32pm (an older lady with a blonde bun and a younger lady with two super long braids).
I feel bad for the guy left by himself. Really disappointing that a manager thinks itās ok to leave one person running the entire store by themselves for...

I placed a pickup on the taco bueno website, which Iāve never done and had no clue how it worked, showed up or was managed in store. I went through the drive thru a bit before my pickup time to check, was told it hadnāt popped up yet and that if I wanted to I could pull in front and come inside.
I said unfortunately I canāt because I have an infant, but no worries! I was perfectly happy to wait until the listed pickup time and drive back through. I go back through and the pickup had JUST popped up, so I told them Iād be fine to go around again so they can have time to make it.
The employees were incredibly kind and brought it to my car instead, saying that theyāve got kids and they understood completely.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreMay 1st, I and a few other customer waited for 20 minutes at the drive through waiting to order, as the cars in front of me ordered and got their food. Then i decided to order at the window and drove forward, where no one was visibly in the restaurant, yet the grills were going and food was out, lights on, and the phone off of the hook. We waited around 30 minutes before we decided to just file complaints and go to Taco Bell, the neighboring competitor. After driving off, I could see the employees on the curb, outside the restaurant, sitting down and chatting away. I'm sorry, but they should not be paid for this hour, and in my opinion, should never knowingly leave the store unattended while 3 cars, and a disabled lady in a wheelchair, are waiting in line. Very upset at the lack of customer service, communication, and the wasting of my time and everybody else's. Will definitely not be coming back to any Taco Bueno bc of this lack of respect shown to customers. Very unprofessional and should be addressed...
