First time bringing the family....and definitely won't be the last! The food was fantastic and the pricing was great as well, especially for the kind of food ordered and other places we've been. Complimentary chips were light, crispy and fried up just right. Everyone liked the well balanced salsa. Kiddo got the kid's chicken tenders and fries which she loved, 3 good size tenders and fried perfectly. The wife got the chicken fajitas...large portion, especially for $14. Came with flour or corn tortillas, Pico, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. Also came with rice and beans. She had half still to take home. I got the steak and enchilada plate that came with 2 enchiladas (I upgraded mine from cheese to ground beef for only $1 extra). Chili topping was light which was nice and not heavy at all. The steak was a 6oz skirt steak that IMHO was perfectly marinated and cooked to perfection....tenders and very flavorful. Probably the best skirt steak I've had at a restaurant to be honest. Came with rice and beans...I took my quest steak topping on the side so was perfect to have with some chips. With 2 drinks our total was only $45...we've paid close to $60 for less at other places for less food.
The place is well lit, very casual and spacious...easy to accommodate large groups. They advertised $5 16oz Margaritas too! I would highly recommend...
Read moreI went there with my wife for dinner to see what it was like. It was a very pleasant experience. It was rather empty when we were there because of the state fair and the lateness of the hour. So, it was relatively quiet and easy to talk to each other. The food was very good. Everything was prepared quite well and arranged quite attractively. The flavor was tasty without being greasy. That is not easy to do. It was served quite expediently, hot, and with a smile. The chips were crisp, and the salsa was not wattery. It adhered to the chip and had a great flavor. The fajitas were absolutely delicious. Towards the end of our stay, our server seemed to be distracted by closing operations in the back. However, she was very attentive until then. The atmosphere was clean and well lighted. There was nice artwork placed around that made it look somewhat classy, even though their prices were not outrageous, like so many places that we can no longer justify frequenting. By the same token, it isn't decorated like Casa Bonita was either. They put their effort into good food over bling. All in all, it was a very nice experience and a place we found worthy of our return. Yes, I am fairly sure that we will be going back, possibly a lot. I do recommend this place. I feel confident you will have a great...
Read moreI will start with the walk in as they greeted us before the door shut. It's a small restaurant. so the service is fast and attentive. Our waitress Estefania was pleasant and on top of things. Chips and salsa are maybe a touch above average but still the highly blended sauce that has become popular. Sons order-Queso was a white cheese but it had a focus on onion so it stood out as not just another white queso. My order- chicken fajitas, maybe a touch dry on the chicken when eaten by itself but it did just fine when made into a fajita, flavor and presentation were both good. Mother's order- shrimp fajitas looked good she ate it all and said she was happy with it. My only complaint- this could be on us as we did not specify that we were ordering from the lunch menu during lunch hours was that the shrimp fajita's we thought were 11:99 ended up costing 18:99 but we were on a time crunch so I just paid it and called it leason learned. All in all we enjoyed our trip here and when we come back to this part of Tulsa we will have this restaurant on this list of options for sure. We will just remember to specify if we are ordering...
