I thought I had found a brand-new restaurant to try, but as I walked in and asked about it, I was told this is actually their second location—sure enough, I’ve been to their original spot in Glenpool. That said, I have to admit: this place feels like a completely different restaurant! From the concept to the menu, everything felt distinct.
For starters, the service here felt far more professional. Our waitress had the kind of polished presence you typically see at high-end restaurants, which was a stark contrast to the experience I had at their first location. The layout of the menu, the clean and modern decor—it all felt elevated.
Here are a few more specific observations:
Chips & Salsa: The chips and salsa were great, especially the spicy salsa they brought out without us having to ask.
Menu: The menu was well-organized, with appealing photos that showcased most of the dishes with an elegant presentation.
Food: I ordered the Texan Steak, which was delicious and well-prepared.
Atmosphere: The outside of the building was simple and clean, but didn’t hint at the stylish interior. Inside, the design was stunning—clean whites and deep blacks balanced beautifully. The bar area in particular stood out as especially well done. My only small critique: the booth seating had very upright backrests, which made it a bit uncomfortable after a while.
Bathrooms: Clean and nicely designed—always a good sign.
Service: As mentioned earlier, our waitress was outstanding. From her introduction to the way she presented the menu and described the dishes, everything felt intentional and professional. If the rest of the staff is anything like her, you've got a winning team here!
Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant. I truly hope you consider opening a location in downtown Tulsa—this level of quality would be a great addition to the...
Read moreSo if you’ve read my reviews you know I love Mexican food. If you haven’t eaten here yet, please trust me and get here! The service from Jose was top notch and it was very evident he cares about your entire experience from the seating all the way to the check it was all done with the utmost care. The drink menu well curated and executed, I had the coco loco and highly recommend. The chips and salsa flowed, warm and fresh crispy chips and multiple salsas. We were also offered some extra spice and heat sauces. I do recommend their normal salsa as it was perfect but the tomatillo was as advertised, simple but with a lil kick. My husband ordered Las Flautas plate and I WILL be ordering this next time we come here. That shredded beef was outstanding, like inappropriate noises and happy wiggle delicious. I had the pick your own combo and chose the pork tamal, empanada, refried beans and chili. The empanada was so flaky and light and the inside was so gooey and delicious. The pork tamal was seasoned so well and cooked to perfection, the refried beans were good and I tried the chili but I was out of room there was soooooo much amazing food that I had to take it to go. The bite I did take I can say that I now have a place to go get chili that I don’t have to make when I want it and that’s a win for me. Again I repeat the food is ridiculously good and the service is wonderful. I highly recommend asking for Jose, but I suspect the service here is consistent no matter who you are seated with. They are definitely putting out A game food and we will be back. Plenty of parking, outdoor seating, ample seating at bar, booths, tables and they can accommodate large parties. Just give them a call to let them know you’re bringing the party to them, they will orchestrate the rest. So glad we stopped here on a whim and thank you for the great food...
Read moreToday, I visited this restaurant to order takeout. As I placed my order for street tacos with cheese, I was rudely informed that I couldn’t dine in. When I arrived at the counter to pick up my food, I was shocked to see that my street tacos were nothing more than tortillas covered in meat and dripping with grease. They were also missing cilantro and onion, which I had specifically requested.
To make matters worse, I was told that I had to pay for the cilantro, onion, and cheese I had asked for. I tried to remain calm and composed, considering that it was already lunchtime and I was hungry. However, I was deeply disappointed with the quality of my food and the lack of seasoning.
To top it off, the prices on their menu seemed inconsistent. I could order three street tacos for $15, but for the $11 , I could get four tacos and a meal. This made me question the value for money and the overall quality of their food.
Do not go here La Reyna...
