The only reason I’m not giving them a better rating was because of my one experience at this particular location. Let me repeat, the one experience I had. My family and I had lived in Texas for 25 years and moved back to Oklahoma. We were so excited to see them in Tulsa. We celebrated my birthday there a few years ago. It was nothing like we remembered.Again my rating is simply based on my experience that day. It was the absolute worst meal Any of us had and there were 14 of us. Since there was such a large amount of people we continued to let family’s cut in front of us. We all got our meals at different times (We were expecting all of us to be served at the same time by the way, we understand why we might not get our meals together) But it’s pathetic when half of those burgers/fries were cold. And completely void of taste. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I gave them another try not too long ago. The tweaker eating leftover food out of their trash can inside, completely turned me off from this joint altogether. I ended up taking my order and giving it to tweaker girl. I will say this the place is clean and the staff is nice and maybe I just visited them on a couple of bad days. I don’t recommend this...
Read moreHusband and I took a walk this evening and wound up over here for dinner. We have never been to Five Guys before. I do not eat cow so there was one true option - the BLT. My husband ordered the Cheeseburger - All the way with every topping. We decided to share a regular order of Cajun fries. Our order arrived in a paper bag with grease soaked through. He was extremely excited to open up his foil wrapped double stacked cheesy cow burger. The fries were crammed into a small cup and there were bonus fries that covered the bottom third of the paper sack. I unwrapped my foiled sandwhich to examine what a Five Guys BLT looks like. It was served on a round seasame bun, layered with oodles of layers of crunchy bacon, slathered in mayo, tomato, and some lettuce. The bacon was over cooked to a crisp - like dog treats. Couldn't complain too much - it was a thickly stacked helping of bacon for $7.50. Fries were satisfactory - looked like the authentic cut and fried potatoes tossed around in Tony C's seasoning. Husband was pleased with his cheeseburger. The price was okay..... Wish for more non-cow options and maybe some ranch to go with the fries. Would love to try a...
Read moreI've been to this Five Guys location a few times now. Always for dinner on a weekday. The location has never been busy when I've been in. Therefore, no line and minimal wait. Given different work staff - the burgers have been always good, but my last visit they were great. We ordered cheeseburgers (1 bacon, 1 just cheese) and a large fry to share and got enough fries to feed 4 people! The burgers are always cooked well here. I saw a review saying the bacon was not good....I have found sometimes the burger fixins here are only OK. Never bad, but other times they are excellent. I figure that's due to the vagaries of a chain restaurant. This place has been clean every time I have visited. Most recently, it was very clean. This is a well-run location (Fall, 2024) serving up great burgers and fries. For Tulsa burger fans, my recent (Fall, 2024) experiences leave me to say that (for me) Five Guys is preferred over Fat Guys. And I'm a Fat Guys fan. 4 stars because the food is always 4 or 5 stars and it can get a bit steep on price for 'just...
