I used to eat at Bueno all the time a few years ago. The quality went downhill so I stopped. Today I thought I'd give them another chance. My mistake.
Had a great deal. Chicken chilada platter with 2 tacos, chips & drink for $3.29 online. Did not have great faith in their ability to keep my credit card off the darkweb, so I went there to order. Their website does not inspire confidence, with them not bothering to even post a simple picture to over half of the items.
Got there and guess what? It's $9.49. 6 bucks more expensive. SO I had to buy a gift card & sit down to order it online. Convenient. I get my order. It's NOT a combo. Just a chilada. I point this out. They call a manager over to which he replies "NOW what?". Professional. I had to pull up my order on my phone to show it was indeed a combo. I got a skeptical disinterested shrug and they went back to making other orders instead of making my tacos.
Finally another worker wondered why I was still there waiting. I told him, so he had to go get them made. 5 more minutes wasted. Tacos only filled half as full as usual. Of course. THEN I had to wait for a cup because - oh, you know why. It's Bueno. So, went to get the pop. Every one is super syrupy and undrinkable. Shocker. Everything else has been SO perfect.
Finally, I will be getting a hold of the ADA on this one. They have one handicapped ramp. it leads to a locked door. So the place is NOT handicapped accessible. Which should surprise no one. On the plus side, the chilada was not bad. After I took it home and heated it. It was cold when I got it. Didn't see that coming, did ya?
Avoid this place like the plague. For a couple of bucks more you can get a good meal at a sit down restaurant. I recommend Neives. THEY like their customers there & want to keep them bu friendly service...
Read moreI had the worst customer service experience at the Taco Bueno here in Tulsa, at 31st and mingo. My family and I will not be treated like or made out to be that of a criminal, how dare they insinuate that. I ordered food from there for my family, and when I got home the food was so disgusting that it was not even edible, every single chip and taco shell was stale and tasted like plastic, you couldn't even chew them, and the beans were rock hard, and they were out of rice, the salsa was watery. It was disgusting, no one touched it, I called back and spoke to manager named Brittany and she told me to save my receipt and come in the next day to get a refund, since I had to go spend another 30$ somewhere else last night to feed my kids because when I called back they were supposedly closed even though it was midnight , and on google it says they close at 1 am? I called back today and talked to a manager who was completely rude, and since I didn't have the food to bring back up there, which the other emotes never said I had to do, there was nothing they could do for me. This is unacceptable!! And he went as far as to say that no else complained, so I must be lying... Nope!! It was disgusting and How DARE they try to insinuate something like that, I will make sure that everyone in town understand how people are treated at Taco Bueno, they supposedly gave me the district managers number, but I've called several times and no one has answered..... This is all very sad!! I'm Infuriated that I've been...
Read moreHusband went through the drive thru last night at around 7:00. There were only two cars in front of him He ordered six burritos and a soft taco. After waiting 30 minutes they tell him that they may not have enough cooked food to complete his order. He asks for a manager and they tell him that they do have enough but the reason the wait is so long is because someone inside the lobby ordered a lot of food and since they were closing at 8:00, they weren't prepared and were having to basically cook more food to complete the very large order. Instead of making the food for everyone in the drive thru line (which once you are in the drive thru lane, you cannot get out of the lane, you are stuck there if someone is in front of and behind you), they just made the large order first, making everyone in the drive thru wait. He finally got his order after 45 minutes. THEN, they told him they were out of pico, not when he ordered it at the window. When he got home, the tortillas on ALL of the burritos were so tough you could barely chew them and they forgot to include the taco. Also, did not give him a receipt to even call them to complain about it. $18...
