The Madden Crab — Restaurant in Tupelo

Ordered snow, crab and king crab when they delivered it to the table the king crab shell was so rubbery and finally when we did get some meat out, it was so salty you could not eat it. Told the waitress the problem she did not say anything or come back to .the owner came back to the table after we had finished did not eat the king crab but she said it doesn’t matter if we ordered it we had to pay for it. I refused to pay for the whole meal that I did not eat the king crab, she insisted that I would have to pay for the whole thing or she would call the law so I said well I guess you need to call the law so she called the police upon that. I tried to pay her what I owed her she refused, and I told my wife to video that I’m going to leave the money on the table and she attacked my wife. Hitting her in the right eye and pulling and scratching her arm. We attempted to leave at this point because I was very shocked and I just had triple bypass surgery. The lady blocked us at the door would not let us out immediately pushed her out of the way and waiting for the police to arrive file charges against them and more probably to come. She lied on the statements that my wife had attacked her we have a video showing that she attack my wife Should not have to deal with something like this. Trying to have a nice evening out in Tupelo. This restaurant should be banned from Tupelo for treating...

We arrived for our reservation at 8:30 and did not have service until 9, we had to ask someone to take care of us because we had not received service yet. The woman we asked said she would go get our waiter and then come back 5 minutes later letting us know that she forgot she had our table we then waited another 5 minutes to get our drink and food order. The food came out very quickly and was very decent at best. We live an hour away so it is worth it to drive and extra 30 minutes to get way better for at a better price in Memphis. We had minimal service throughout our meal and we had informed our waitress that we were celebrating a birthday. By the time we were finishing up it was 5til 10 and we still had no dessert, when we asked for it she offered it to us Togo. When we said we would like to eat it there she gave us a dirty look and said they closed at 10. I am a waitress and I know how to make sure I get very good tips. And that is not how you do it. They can't understand English well, so there's language barrier.. we asked for kingcrabs, blue crabs,manila clams and mussels but she don't know clam, she only know crab... so after we ate we realized there's no clams,, so I asked the woman if she forgot the clams... she insisted the (cra) crabs is there..I said yes its there, I'm asking about the "clam, manila clam" not crab..so instead of understanding what I asked, she went to the cook and told him about what I said (incorrectly) so d cook went outside so mad, he said there's (cra)crabs there... so I told him yes sir there's crabs there king and blue.. what were asking is the clam..manila clam... so he said (cla) , so no (cla) clams on the list, you're not charged.. he is so mean to walk like that thinking we're not going to pay maybe? And he wanted to challenged my husband and never apologised for his demeaner and tone...Their food isn't that good as PIER88, their crabs are mushy/slightly rotten and sauce is very salty... at PIER88 sauce is very tasty and crabs have good meat!!! Only there's no pier88 in the area so we went to Madden (no choice) but were very disapointed ... were not going to eat here...
