We were in town and my son wanted sushi so we decided to try it on a recommendation. That was a bad decision. It was a Saturday night about 7:30pm. I expected them to be busy but there weren't very many people inside. Once we went in, we understood why. The place was filthy. The floors were dirty, tables were dirty and we were ignored when we went in. Finally, someone came to seat us. I went to the women's restroom that was filthy as well and there were no paper towels and the trash cans were overflowing. We had probably been seated for about 10 minutes before the server came over. She never took our drink order, just our food order so we went ahead and ordered drinks when she took our food order. There were a lot of employees behind the counter but nobody was really working. My husband ordered a beer and it took forever. The tables stayed dirty the entire time we were there (about 45 minutes). People would leave and nobody was cleaning any tables. The music was loud and random and didn't go with the theme of the restaurant at all. Now for the food. I ordered the chicken Katsu which was supposedly a popular dish. It was overdone and almost burnt. The macaroni salad tasted rotten and the green salad had a weird taste to it. My son ordered the sushi and said it was okay. All in all we had hoped the food would make up for the dirty restaurant and the terrible service, unfortunately, it did not. Only one girl seemed to be working. There was another server there but she was more interested in flirting with customers and every employee in the kitchen/behind the bar. Very disappointed in Katana Sushi. They clearly need a manager and someone to come and...
Read moreAs soon as my wife and I walked in, we were greeted right away. There was a person that took our temperature and sat us down right away. My wife ordered 2 bowls of edemame, one regular and the other was a spicy garlic variation. You can't go wrong with the simple edemame, the other one was really good as well. It had a kick but was full of flavor. She ordered the beef teriyaki platter and I got the Rainbow roll and Oh my God roll. The waitress was very spot on checking in with us every few minutes. The food came out pretty quick and looked liked I was going to have to release my belt a little. My wife LOVED the beef teriyaki! She said she wishes that all places cooked the meat the way they did at this restaurant. She said it was soft and juicy. She wants to go back for more. My rolls were really delicious, the Rainbow roll hit the spot, the variety of fish tasted fresh. The Oh my God roll was definitely filling! It had slightly bigger proportions and topped with the spicy mayo was fire. I definitely left with my belt being notched down to make room to breath. Great food and great customer service, definitely recommend...

This visit would have been an easy 5 âď¸ if not for the delayâwe waited about 35 minutes for our food due to staffing and the chef ârunning behind,â even though there were only three other tables seated.
That said, the experience overall was excellent. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were kind, and the food was worth the wait. I went with my foodie buddie; my daughter, and hereâs what we ordered:
Nigiri (Chefâs Choice): All three available itemsâsalmon, tuna, and hamachi. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
Salmon Teriyaki: Generous portionâeasily enough for two people. The salmon was tender, flaky, and savory, paired with sticky rice and a crisp house salad. The mashed potatoes were not my favorite, so Iâll substitute next time.
Spicy Tuna Hand Roll: My daughter ordered this one and loved itâI didnât get a chance to try it myself.
Overall: great people, great atmosphere, and really great food. Parking available no issues. Definitely planning to return and try more items across the menu. Will update after a few...
