Community Hospice Hope Chest Thrift Store — Local services in Turlock

I lost my father and my mother to cancer and both were in hospice so being new to Turlock and being from the Bay area I decided to come here and spend about $60 a week I didn't really need the things that I got but I thought it went to a great cause it's a real shame that I was met with such hostility from the gray-haired lady that seems to be in charge of this place. When I noticed a pretty decorative table on the floor I inquired about it, she said she was pricing things and looked the piece over, turned it upside down etc as I waited patiently. Then, she turned and simply walked away...So, I asked her if she was going to price it. She huffed rudely, as she turned back around, holding up her hands, exclaiming, " No, not right now, I have work to do!" I couldn't believe her response. I left my buggy I had, full of stuff I had chosen, and walked out. It's sad how negative people can be to others for absolutely no reason other than feeling a need to lash out. I hope at some point she will notice there are good in many people, if you approach them in a healthy...

Neatly organized hospice thrift store where I donated 3 bags of linens and obtained a tax receipt for the tax savings when filing income taxes.

Purchased 1 pair of stretch denim jeans in great condition and one blouse long sleeved great condition for $3.25 each plus I was wearing a hat and today; Wednesday was hat day so I saved 20% off the entire order just for wearing my beanie cap.

If you are collecting or just trying to find a decent game or movie DONT come here you will NEVER NEVER find anything the people working here save all vintage and retro shirts hats games movies etc and give them to there select people and hide product/items from the normal customers I’m happy I’ll never come back and everyone I know will also stop because there is no point if you will never find anything good...
