Turlock Comics — Local services in Turlock

It always bums me out to see fake negative reviews left for any store especially this one. Especially when some of them literally came from someone who got kicked out for shoplifting.

I will tell you if you come to this store you will find a store filled to the brim with comics (back issues and new books) you'll find hundreds of decently priced funkos. (Some are even buy 2 get 1 free) You'll find every tcg represented including my favorite the new star wars unlimited which they host every Friday night.

You'll find great people working there. Whether it's the two owners who are Vets. Or the other couple who fills in for them on occasion.

You'll find great people gaming. Commander players, star wars players, tabletop RPG and board game players.

As a dude who has lived in Turlock my whole life I've heard people say "man I wish not just comics didn't close or I wish we had a good comic store" now we do. So what are you waiting for come down and...

At first, this location seemed like a great choice. However, that seems to have changed and it’s disappointing for the community of Turlock looking for a shop like this. One such example is that this shop started holding tournaments that required products that can only be purchased for the tournaments, where the prizes are only obtainable by playing these tournaments. It started out fine and a lot of people showed up to participate. However, it seems that now the coordinator for the tournaments has now capped the amount of people that are able to play so that his friends are the only ones that can play, purchase those special packs and all of them obtain the prizes that are only obtainable through tournament play, excluding anyone else in the community who might want to participate. It’s a shady act and it seems that the owners are fine with it and stand by it. A real shame and speaks volumes to the customer service to...

Best store in town for gaming by far.

I checked out the other store in town and they don't have lorcana championships or star wars championships. These guys do and out of the stuff I've attended I've ate free twice. Dinner and entertainment can't beat that

Not to mention the husband and wife I've seen working there on weekends have been nothing short of wonderfully kind to us. A welcome change from other gaming stores around.

I've been going to comic stores in the Valley since the 80s and this the only one I can remember that has had celebrity signings. Seriously, Lou freaking Ferrigno the original hulk was here and now they've got a red power ranger coming in a couple days.

So if you're into new comics, old comics, graded comics, cheap comics, expensive comics, funkos, rc cars, everything in gaming from magic to people playing power rangers DnD this is the shop to go to.
