1/2/2025 My family & I visited the KFC in Turlock. We were saddened to just find out the A&W KFC closed down as we had driven from Modesto to eat there so we went to the Golden State location. Our experience sadly was TERRIBLE! We waited about 20-25 minutes for our food. There was a customer sitting next to my family & I and let the workers know we were waiting for our food still (she said she was a regular and sometimes they forget) Okay, so about 10 minutes after the lady said something we finally get the food. Got 2 combos meals & a kids meal everything was COLD! Not one item we received was fresh, warm, or hot out the fryer. All just OLD COLD food! we start picking at it because my 6 year old is starving. I didn’t even want to go complain after we had just waited so long for our food, and I was so mad that I just spent $32 on trash! I ended up going up to the counter because my husband was missing his nuggets. The worker Patty (I heard someone call her name, that’s the only way I caught her name) did apologize & actually gave me a box of warm nuggets. I had asked her nicely for the receipt and she asks me “ It didn’t print out on the kiosk? I tell her No, it did not. It didn’t even give an option to print out. At the end of ordering all it said was “Email, Text, No Receipt” So no, I did not get a receipt. I ask if she can print it out on her computer because she is looking at my whole order on her screen & she tells me she can’t. I know she wasn’t being truthful & that’s because she probably didn’t want me to give them a bad review knowing I was asking for the receipt. As a former fast food worker I do indeed know you can print out a receipt on the main computer if someone ordered on the kiosk. Besides the whole food ordeal I didn’t understand also why they had so many people working & they’re all standing around talking & had other coworkers just hanging out in the parking lot when there dining area definitely could’ve used a mop and wipe down. I’ve reached out to the corporate office for a refund. Good customer service and hot food to order goes a long way. The way the prices are in this economy I think customers should be getting what they’re paying for! They should’ve kept the A&W KFC open & closed this location. The other location had great customer service & good food. I would give this location zero...

Worst experience there of my life, i went through the drive thru and had to hold for 5mins to get our order taken when there was only one car at the window and the girl order taker and cashier Nayeli did not even listen to what we asked for she just ask for payment and had my husband and i park for 18mins but was more like 25-30mins and she just handed us the food and walked away and she forgot our mac & cheese & gave us the wrong flavor of cake we had tried getting her attention and she just kept on walking, when we went back through drive another girl was at the window and was very nice and help us but on our way back home we notice they forgot our biscuits as well and we went back and we were told they are out but then had the nerve to tell us to always check our bags, I work at a fast food restaurant and that was unacceptable for her to tell a customer that, that is her job to do as it is mine when I'am working i would have never told a customer to check there bags they should feel confident knowing everything is in there bags, KFC was not that busy for them to be holding on some much food the girls that were working tonight are very unprofessional and could obviously not run the store right. Never will i be going back...

They don't seem to know the difference between white and dark meat. The last 3 times we got a bucket, one an 8pc and the last two a 12 pc. and were assured our selection would include white meat, we returned home to discover that once again the white meat was completely missing. This last time it was a bucket of greasy thighs and a couple of scrawny wings. The thighs were tiny, some smaller than the wings, with a thick layer of breading that was like greasy, wet, raw dough. It didn't used to be this bad, what happened? Best to check your order before you leave to make sure it is correct as they cannot be trusted and will lie to your face. As much as we love the 11 herbs and spices, we are much happier going to SaveMart now. The grocery store chicken is just a fraction of the price with large, perfectly cooked pieces that aren't a greasy mess.

Edit: Before Covid we decided to go inside because of their usual bad service of messing up orders, and I noticed my shoes stuck to the floor like an old movie theater and there was flies buzzing around. Also the door was very hard to pull open and my elderly father had trouble opening and mentioned it was definitely...
