The park has lots of homeless people who carry around their entire homes with them.
The park has 3 bathrooms, women's, men's and handicapped. I used the handicapped, out was clean and had plenty of toilet paper.
The park has water features for the kids or anyone to use. The day I went it was off. I honestly don't know when they turn on the water features. I've visited the park when the water features were on.
I was doing yard work once and an entire class went by to go to the park and the water features were on. I think if you are a school class or non profit you can have the water features turned on.
It is a great little park to unwind or even BBQ if the homeless people haven't taken over the BBQ area.
July 14, 2025 Something I've never seen before, probation officers frequent the park regularly and hang out. I've never ever seen that before. The amount of homeless people has diminished somewhat, though, they are still here. There is a solar powered police surveillance camera in...
Read moreOMG, where do I start. This park hasn't been reviewed in YEARS. I DID NOT KNOW THE HOMELESS TOOK OVER THIS PARK. FELT SUPER UNSAFE!!!!!! I mean unsafe as in the stains everywhere. The trash. The fact there was a woman bathing in the water spray area. My daughter wanted to take off her shoes and I just didn't trust that. She sat on a bench to take off her shoes and just touching the bench made me cringe. I couldn't stay more than 5 minutes.
The play structure actually looks...o..Kay. I still couldn't trust it I mean who knows what's been going on in there.
I saw zero children playing there on a hot summer day. I should've known that was a sign to keep driving.
Take your child to Donnelly park just down the way. It's literally like 5 minutes if that. Bring water guns if you want the spray feature haha! No water for humans at this park but the play area is WAY BETTER for children.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Nothing like advertised in...
Read moreTook my grandson yesterday 6/22 The park looks like it could be a nice place plenty of shade. The water playground 🛝 my grandson enjoyed it . The water does not cycle until noontime. My main concerns where the larger number of homeless people that occupied all of the shaded benches and picnic areas, and the garbage about the park. Several dilapidated motor homes with possibly more homeless. Several middle aged men hanging out about the edges of the park with several others riding up on bikes exchanging things in their hands gave me the impressions of some sort of illegal dealings or activity. It is sad that we let our parks fall to the RIF-RAF in this way. It would be a nice park to bring your kids to but keep them close. It was not the most comfortable place for me as a grandparent to take my grandson but looked promising from the...
