I’ve always liked the quality and taste of everything I’ve purchased there, the only complaint I have is the customer service. I don’t typically write reviews or complain but I’ve been in a couple times recently and each time the service hasn’t been very nice. This last time just didn’t sit well with me. My son and I went in about 3:35 to order some coffee/blended drinks. We noticed they were serving lunch until 4 so we decided to eat as well. The girl who helped me seemed irritated with every question I asked. Made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her. She made it very clear she was the only person working the cafe side and our order would take a while. I said ok no problem. She then had a couple more orders walk in. Maybe 5 minutes go by and I had noticed our food was sitting at the counter so I walked up to it. She then said loudly across the coffee bar “it’s going to take me while still” with an irritated tone ( the side salad wasn’t finished ). I said no worries and waited. I work in customer service so I understand being the only one doing multiple things by yourself and I had no problem with the wait. It’s just the way she communicated to me as a customer was extremely rude and made it very clear she was overwhelmed being on her own. This isn’t the first time either one of the staff seems irritated or impatient with taking an order whether it’s on the coffee side or pastry side. Like I said I understand having a bad day or being overwhelmed working on your own. But the way you communicate that can make all...
Read moreI went in to ask about getting a cake made with a specific design for my son, I was speaking to a young lady at the counter about it and showing her the picture when one of her co-workers looked over her shoulder and rudely told me NO, the young gal was confused (I think she was new) so I told her "I guess that is a no, based on what that woman said", then that rude woman turned to tell me that No they couldn't do it due to licensing. Them not being able to do it is not the issue, it was the rudeness of this woman's response. I did not get her name, but she had brown hair was medium height and overweight. Since I was there I decided I might as well get something to eat, so I walked over to the other counter. I ordered half sandwich and soup combo. When I went to pick up my food I asked the lady for bread for the soup, and she told me that they no longer provide bread for the combo I purchased and that she would have to charge me for it, which I find very ridiculous. I was just there last month and ordered the same thing and got bread. I find it very sad that they over charge you for the very small lunch I purchased (she only half filled my soup on top of that) and wont give you bread to go with soup anymore. So I grabbed my food and left. I will not be back there. I had stopped going as frequently since their prices keep increasing, however, the customer service keeps going down and the food portions keep getting smaller. ...
Read moreWent inside saw a small line to pick out pastries from inside the glass. Me going in just to buy some birthday candles and a load of bread on the shelve I didn’t think I needed to grab a number since I wasn’t needing assistance for anything inside the glass where the pastries and such were located . So I stood behind a man buying a cake and a worker asked if I needed assistance and I said no I was just purchasing these candles. So I waited , waited, waited, 20 minutes went by and I was still waiting at the register to be rung up. No one came as they walked past me. So I politely as if someone was going to help me and they asked if I grabbed a number. And I said no because I didn’t need assistance from anything behind the counter. And even if I did need a number they could have told me 20 minutes ago as they saw me standing there. Like everyone saw me and not one person had the decency to tell me anything. Needless to say I will not be returning to them, and felt like I was treated like a child or being punished or something for not grabbing a number. Next...
