Dunkin' — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

9/30/2025 Please fill my cup with beverage and not foam. By the time I got home and took the lid off, the foam was gone and the cup was only 2/3 full. 6/9/2024 I went inside to see what they had instead of ordering through the app. They were doing kiosk orders only. The kiosk worked poorly (it would have been better to use the app). I couldn't split the syrup flavors for my hot chai. The avocado toast was out of seasoning, which was good because I didn't want it. However, the kiosk wouldn't let me order it. I asked if the clerk would help, thinking that she would just take my order. She said she needed a minute to finish the order she was on and that they were short-handed. She tried the kiosk and got similar results with the avocado toast. She placed my order on the register, and they didn't have skim milk. My receipt had a time of 10:19. I didn't leave until after 15 minutes. My avocado toast had the seasoning and handed to me in an unlocked box. My chai was iced, she took it back, then another clerk announced my order number and put the same drink on the counter (now other customers are noticing), then I got my hot chai. The chai was hot and had the correct flavors! Just pray for this shop because I can't get mad at them anymore. This location needs a blessing.

6/13/2023 - The counter clerk was good. He informed us that they were out of lemon loaf. But the manager told him, "She can have a donut." The lemon loaf is $3.49 and a single donut is $1+. 3 stars based on two separate occasions I've stopped here while traveling in the past 2 weeks.

1st time - I was ignored for 10 minutes, not even greeted or acknowledged. There was one family in the store at the time so being too busy isn't an excuse they can use. A simple "we'll be right with you" would have sufficed. When I finally was acknowledged, I was given the impression that my presence was an inconvenience. Afterward, the service was fast.

2nd time - I went through the drivethru to place my order. I didn't want to get out of my car because I have some pain issues and the traveling is aggravating it. I needed to place 3 separate small orders. One drink apiece. I was told they will only do one order. If I wanted to make more than one is have to drive around the building for each order. I would understand if they were busy, but yet again, no one was in the drive thru behind or in front of me. I refused that as it is absurd. I had my daughter go in and place the order to find out they had NO ONE one inside either. I call this absurd because I have not had an issue at any other DD I've placed multiple orders from. I can only assume this is either bad business practices for the owner, or a case of lazy workers. I'm leaning toward the latter due to the previous experience.

In all, 3 stars because I am a DD fan and the product tastes great no matter where I get it. If this were anywhere else, I wouldn't be...

Normally a fan of Dunkin, but this was the worst we have ever been in. When we first went in the music was so loud you couldn’t even hear what the cashiers were asking. One bathroom was out of order and the other was filthy. This was at 7am, so there should not have been that many people to even use it for the day. There was only about half the selection available that we see at every other Dunkin, so we had to settle for second choices all around, for coffee and donuts/muffins. Plus, the food was all on trays, with some being only inches from the dirty floor and feet. It took over 15 minutes from when we ordered until we finally got our donuts and muffins. We had to ask for half of the order which had not been given out. Other customers also had to ask why their simple orders were taking so long. When we finally got our order, the coffee cup was dirty and splattered with who knows what. The donuts looked like the gnats that were in the store had landed on them. The coffee tasted watered down. We didn’t even get two of the items we ordered. It appeared that the staff didn’t care or even have any idea what they were doing. So thankful that we will probably never come through this town again, and will never visit this store again. We still love Dunkin, but...
