Update 10/2/21 - We decided to try this place again for dinner last night. It was very busy! But we were sat immediately. It took about 6-7 minutes for our server to come over and greet us. We asked for a drink menu and it took her about 4-5 to return with the drink menu. So we decided we want a LIT and the Watermelon margarita. And we also ordered an appetizer, the pimento cheese bites. Our drinks were okay. The appetizer comes and at first it’s really good but then my boyfriend cut into the middle and they were ice cold, frozen. So since we never could find our server we flagged another server done and let her know they were cold in the middle. She took them and said she would have another sent out. A few minutes later the manager (I can only assume) came over and apologized and let us know he would take them off the bill. A few minutes later we were ready for another drink. Our server no where to be found. So we see the manager and ask him for more drinks. Our server never did acknowledge the cold appetizer. The replacement was delicious! The entrees were delicious as well. Serving sizes were way better than last time. Overall a good experience. We definitely appreciate the manger acknowledging the mistake with the pimento cheese bites. Service was 6/10 (only because of the management). Food 9/10. Atmosphere 8/10 (little loud but that’s definitely the vibe there so no fault of theirs) over all I’d say 8/10. We said we’d go back!
I went here for lunch today. It was very sub par. First time at this particular location. We walked in sign said seat yourself so we did. A few min later the server comes over takes our drink order. My boyfriend ordered the “holiday margarita” advertised outside. When it was brought to the table after what felt like about 15 min, he was very disappointed. It did not look like a margarita at all. No ice, served in a wine glass. It was layered with wine on the top. No lime. No salt. The absolute worst presentation of a cocktail. The server seemed confused about the presentation as well. He ordered a sliced bbq plate with fried corn on the cob & baked beans. The corn & beans were $2 extra each. He got a half of a corn on the cob. Said it was good but paying $2 for not even a whole corn on the cob was not worth it. I got the burger with lettuce & fried onion ring because when I asked if they had raw onion she said no but you serve fried onion rings? Seems odd. I ordered the grilled okra as the side for $1 extra. I got 6 very small pieces of whole okra. Again delicious but portions are very skimpy. On the menu the burger said cooked to order “pink or no pink”. She did not ask me how I wanted it cook so I got a burnt burger. Also, server brought out about 6 different bottles of condiments & sauces and placed it at the end of our table. This is so unsanitary. Especially with covid, condiments should be served in individual ramikins. We left feeling like we did not get our money’s worth at all. $42.90 + $9 tip for poor everything: service, food,...
Read moreI ordered the Hoo Knows Why. I was really disappointed, as I have had the Question Mark and loved it, but this was nothing like it. I think there were only two small chicken tenders instead of three as the menu suggests. The chicken was cut into small bites. There was very little chicken. Most of it was very hard, like the chicken was stale. There were a lot of fries. The fries were the best part. There was not much pork. About half of it was overcooked and hard like the chicken. If there was any white sauce (again listed on the menu item) I couldn't tell. I used ketchup, because it was delivered and I didn't have anything else but couldn't eat it with nothing on it. There was cheese, but again very little.
Edit-If the item isn't recommended for delivery, it shouldn't be allowed to be delivered. At least there should be a notice beforehand, as this is the first I've heard of that. I do appreciate checking in with the recipe and kitchen staff. I don't think it was the delivery service's fault if it sat. They actually delivered much quicker than their estimated delivery time, maybe about twenty minutes. The chicken and some of the pork was like it had been heated for hours. I don't think twenty minutes would possibly cause it to be as hard as it was. But I could be wrong. Thank you...
