We had a horrible experience with the service here, but the food was pretty good overall.
We placed an order through the Wendy's mobile app. At the drive-thru speaker, we were greeted with, "Welcome to Wendy's." I waited, as it's typical for someone to say, "How may I help you?" or something similar. I gave them space, as I thought maybe they were helping another customer at the window. After a minute or two, I asked if anyone was there. The lady said, "Yes, I said, 'Welcome to Wendy's!'" I apologized and said that I didn't hear them say anything after that. She then sighed and said something like, "You could have said your order already," in a gruff tone of voice. After I said I had a mobile order, I was told to drive around. My wife commented about how rude they were, and I agreed.
At the window, I'm not sure if it was the same employee as over the speaker, but they were also rude. They handed me our drink without a word. After giving me the sacks of food, they said, "That should be it." I would have expected a "Thank you," or something a little more polite.
My drink was supposed to be a regular Dr Pepper, but it tasted like the worst diet soft drink ever created by man. Regarding the food, the pieces of lettuce on the burger were teeny pieces smaller than the pickles. Otherwise, most of our food was tasty and just what we ordered.
I eat at Wendy's back home in Texas constantly, and if it weren't for those good experiences, I wouldn't come to a Wendy's again. This was enough to make me stay away, but I know that Wendy's can be better, so I'll keep coming. But, I hope I remember to not visit a Wendy's in Alabama if this is what...
Read moreWent inside due to a longer line a cars and thought it would be faster..... First Mistake on me! The girl at the counter taking the order didn't know her job (really hope she was in training but it didn't look that way, she didn't even know how to take a card as payment) I asked for the Bacon Cheddar Hamburger and Fries...... she stood there looking all over the screen and finally asked the shift manager to come help and the manager said "We don't have that any more (with an attidude)!" I then pointed out the customer facing screen showing it and she walked around the counter and then said yea we don't have that any more and pointed at the bun and said "We don't have the buns to make those so we don't carry it anymore and I don't know why thats even on that screen anymore!". I said ok fine I'll get a Double Baconator.... the girl looked at me and said a double hamburger? I again repeated my statment asking for a double baconator and she got it right... I then inserted my card in the machine and she called the manager again and asked how do you take a card? At this point I about walked out. I have been going to this Wendy's Location for over 15 years and every time I go there the service is worse and worse! The owner needs to step up and get rid of the people with the attidudes, train the front counter and managers on their jobs! I know this is a low end job but it's still a job that people are getting paid to do and are...
Read moreI ordered the Wendy's wrap for the first time. It was the worst wrap I've ever had in my life. I don't know if it was how it was prepared or if it's horrible at every Wendy's, but it was worse than horrible. The chicken tasted like bleach smells. It was so repugnant that I couldn't finish it. I ordered the only two wraps available. I tempted fate after failing the first time and tasted the second chicken wrap. It's chicken too tasted like bleach smells. It too was repugnant. My daughter ordered a chicken sandwich. She too complained of an odd taste. I didn't bother tasting hers so I don't know what it tasted like. Needless to say, I haven't been to any Wendy's since. I wouldn't have given this particular Wendy's only one star but for the fact that we waited nearly 20 minutes for our order. I was able to down an entire large frosty while waiting for my chicken wraps. I no option but to eat my frosty. Had I waited for my order, my frosty would have been a...
