wait time to get served is about 30 to 45mins dinning in, take out wait time about 30 mins even if you order 2 hours before arriving ,told by the owner lady to order food for dinner about 5 hours before dinner time so the food is prepared and that is only for 2 people .WHAT ??? Is this ur Aunty’s place or a Resturant .
People who are rating 5 stars because their paratha/ naan rolls are the best . Don’t actually know that the reason she is always recommending those is because she never has anything else available on the huge menu she has. Try picking 10 items before she actually says oh that 1 thing is available and then wait 50 mins to get served (for 2 people) I know it because I tried multiple times a week for a whole year and never ones anything or at least 90% things were available. so why make a menu when nothing is ever going to be available? Very disappointed . I thought the whole purpose of restaurants is to to grab a quick bite and not have to take hours to prepare food by yourself . .So Go if you like the paratha/naan roll . All day ,any day.
The ambiance of the Resturant feels like a gift shop, so people who go their thinking there is always a theme party going on are wrong. Because try going their months apart and you will still find the same decoration .
Also, did you know that the owner lady who always seems so nice is always back -bitting about the previous customer who has just left the Resturant to the customer sitting there? Un-believable right? And oh not all people wants to hangout with the owner when they are trying to relax and enjoy a meal with their loved ones outside their homes. She loves to find out about the whole family history and personal stuff about you . ones or twice is fine but every time you go , seems a bit too much. Get a clue lady. give people some space .
avoid trying to compliment her food because she will brag and brag until ur food is cold and not given a chance to actually finish it. And if you correct her . Beware , because get ready to listen to her lecturing you about how wrong you are and how she is always right , and the best.
prices are way over the roof , not worth the quality or quantity...
Read moreIts been more than couple of months since i have been to this place owing to mostly the erratic timings during afternoon. Google claims that this place is open at 11 while twice i went there and it was closed and there were few unfortunate patrons wondering what happened as they came to the place based on recommendations. Today i called and they said its open and refused to acknowledge that they missed opening on time last month. Nevertheless, i went there at 12:30 PM and still the lunch buffet was not kept there. when it was served, i noticed that chicken tikka was cold while the veg samosa and seekh kebab was missing. I was told that veg samosa is served only during specials and seekh kebab will take some time. Kebab didnt even made it to the table till i was almost full. The same rice has chicken, goat and veg pieces placed in to make it three types of biryani. Also, the same cold chicken tikka was in the gravy to term it as chicken tikka masala. There was no sweet dish there. The owner was so rude that we didnt even feel like going and complaining that the sweet dish is not there. The service was abysmal. When we asked for water, we were told to go fill it up ourselves at the buffet table. when we asked for Samosa, we were told that there is enough food for the price. The host may be a good cook but the taste is not worth the arrogance and lack of service. I would anyday go to Anjappar which opened nearby last month and serves with a warm smile not a scorn and frown on the face. I wish i can give 1 star but i will give 2 just because of the decent goat biryani. Definitely not worth $13 plus...
Read moreFood was semi-good, service was extremely terrible. The lady who seemed to be the owner of the restaurant did not care to serve anyone but one set of family who when walked in was admiring the decor of the restaurant. Entire time all they discussed was their decor and didn't bother checking up on anyone else. Our appetizers, we had to ask for even after our main dish arrived. We had to remind them about our drinks order... the server was really confused; he didn't even know what Fanta was... he kept calling it "orange" when we asked for Orange Fanta, he said no we don't have it. And the owner just stood there watching the server get confused and embarrassed. The owner/lady was rude and just not willing to communicate properly with anyone but her "favorite" client; who at one point we thought were her friends.
Will not be going back to this place. Maybe a take out if we're...
