This store no longer has a human cashier option. All orders are placed via a kiosk. I placed my order and indicated that I would like to pay cash and the kiosk inormed me to wait by the front counter for a team member to help me. For 15 minutes. I stood by the front counter and not a single employee looked in my direction; they kept making drive-thru orders. I finally had to raise my voice to bring attention to me after two other customers received their orders that came in after me. The manager asked me why I didn't say something sooner, and I explained to her that she needs to keep an eye out for her front counter if there's somebody waiting. She was very rude and not very pleasant. She processed my payment and my order came up shortly afterwards.
While I was eating, I witnessed two other customers trying to get condiments from the front counter and no one was there to help. Needless to say, the people in the restaurant with me are not fans of the new kiosk system. I will not be utilizing any restaurant that has completely done away with human interaction.
I forgot to mention... The black bean chalupa is the most tasteless, bland item I've ever had...

Welcome to Taco Bell's corporate test/demo location! Plant-based beef (PBB) on limited trial for a week or so 4/21/2021, subbed for ground beef at no charge (!) on request in person or drive-thru NOT app or kiosk (for the test). I think they got this right! Very good flavor, different from the Del Taco product, pea/chickpea based. Dine-in completely open again-the newest design; self-serve drinks, wifi good. Also excellent, friendly staff that helped me with what was in this new product so I could understand it. As good a megachain experience as I've had, and I think it bodes well for the fast...
Read moreFirst time to a Taco Bell in over a decade. I ordered on the app and picked it up in the drive-thru. Ordering on the app had no apparent value in terms of speed of order preparation. Some stupid AI bot tried to take my order or something when I first got there. It was like trying to yell at an auto attendant on the phone to get them to put a human on the speaker.
I haven't had Taco Bell for a while because I prefer del Taco. I still do. Taco Bell's taco meat is just a little too rank. I will say: their offerings were fairly filling, especially with a discount for using the app for the first time.
I will probably only go back for the same reason I chose it this time: it was the most convenient thing on the way home and I didn't want to get...
