So we came here because the other restaurant my aunt wanted to go to was closed. I was in town visiting and we both really wanted some authentic Mexican food. We were sat immediately, and greeted by our server Marisol within a minute. She was very polite, and seemed to be handling the 3 or 4 tables that were in the restaurant at about 1115 am. I got the Idaho nachos, and my aunt got the pick 3 option with 1 enchilada, rice and beans. The nachos were great, even the ones at the bottom remained pretty crispy, which isn't always easy to accomplish as they're covered in toppings. Great seasoning and a very good serving size. The complimentary chips were fresh, salsa was delicious and a tad spicy, bean dip was satisfactory. My aunt's enchilada and rice were both very well cooked and seasoned. This was my first visit here, and I like to visit Mexican places almost everywhere I go, I would definitely recommend stopping at this spot in old town twin falls if you're in the area. Marisol was very attentive and kind throughout our visit. Our bill was about 22$ and when filling out the tip line Marisol said "you don't have to leave anything, you can just put a smiley face if you were happy with the service" I tipped her 25% and she deserved even more. Great experience.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. Their Mexican food was super authentic tasting and was seasoned to perfection. I ordered one dish, and a side dish because it looked like a lot of food based on the menu description. We asked the waiter and he confirmed that we could share the dinner plate, so we ordered the chicken/steak meal(I don't remember the exact name) and a Chile relleno and we were stuffed and had a tiny bit leftover. Everything was so good, the Chile tasted fresh, cheesy and the sauce was just spicy enough. The dinner plate was huge, it came with rice and beans(of course) but it also had a side of mushrooms with cheese over them and the chicken and carne were cooked perfectly not dry or rubbery. It also came with a side of guacamole, grilled jalapeños, and grilled green cebollas. Of course we also got a side of chips and salsa while waiting for our food and the salsa was on point! I would highly recommend. We had very low expectations of getting good quality Mexican food in the middle of nowhere Idaho, but we were shocked and pleasantly glad to be wrong. GO HERE and be happy.

I can't express enough how disappointing this place is. Time and time again. My husband is a fan of this restaurant, I'm not. Every time I think they can't get any worse, I open my to go food. This picture you're looking at is a TOSTADA? I don't know about anyone else, but I've been eating tostadas for 50 plus years, and I can say with confidence......this is the worst tostada I've ever seen. Obviously I didn't eat it or anything else on that plate. But I have never ever had soggy tostadas. But this place is famous for screwing up my food. There is honestly nothing authentic about this place. As far as the food goes, save your money drive a little farther down the road to the taco truck. It will be worth it I promise. Don't waste your money here. Sorry but you asked...

One of my fave Mexican places in Idaho. Was down from Boise out to see the SSFs and stopped here based on reviews. Did not disappoint at all. Place was slammed at 2:45pm but the crew managed it like pros. Claudia, our server was gracious, courteous and had a great recommendation on a dish I was interested in. The pork chops adobada with flour(I think they were hands made) was fantastic. My companion had the Carnes asada with grilled bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp. That was very good as well. They even had my fave Agua fresca(jamiaca). Salsa had a good kick to it. Will visit this place anytime I'm in the area. Worth the 2 hr drive almost on its own. Had a vast menu 😋 look forward to next tasting.
