When I got there, it had a nice little atmosphere and the waitress seemed nice, but don't let it fool you. The first salsa was okay, definitely too much tomato that overpowered the taste with very little spice, and the bean dip tasted like it was from a can from Walmart. I went ahead and asked for a spicier salsa, chicken fajitas, and my date ordered the Carne speciality plate and sopaipillas. After ordering the food took a little while for what didn't seem like a busy place, and when it came out, it also came out with the spicier salsa that was ordered about 40 min beforehand. The "spicy" salsa tasted fishy, like actual fish, and had no spice. The fajita plate also had cheese on top of it, which seemed different than normal fajitas. Also came with a side of Mexican rice and more beans. The chicken tasted good, but everything else is another matter. The vegetables with the fajitas, bell pepper (red and green) and onion was bland. The Carne asada was rubbery, and park of the Carne asada steak on the side tasted bad. After we were done eating, about 15 min later we had to ask for the sopaipillas. The dessert was the best part of the whole experience. Service was terrible, hardly had the waitress come by and check on us or offer refills. Had to ask a different waitress for our dessert. Also the place is pretty pricey for the food offered, when taking nearby Mexican food restaurants, that make better food for lower prices and offer better service. The real kicker was a sign on the window stating "A party of 5 or larger, will have a tip added to the bill." Honestly with that kind of service, a tip isn't the first thing on the...

First thing, this restaurant is way overpriced for their lack of seasoned food. I ordered 2 fountain drinks, a kids plate, a side of nachos and side of beans and rice and the bill was close to $40. The food did not have much flavor and the “nachos” were pretty much chips and cheddar cheese I could have made at home. No drink refills which is ridiculous considering 2 drinks nearly cost $8.
Secondly, the waitress overcharged me and knew about it and still let me walk out the door. After checking both receipts she gave me I realized the overcharge, I was a party of 2 with an infant, tip should not have been included as I had tipped on top of the overpayment. I went back in to ask about the additional charge and she said “oh yeah” like it was intentional and she wasn’t expecting that I noticed. Thankfully, She did give me my money back with no hassle.
Did not get much service but it’s ok because the abuelita working had an attitude and was rolling her eyes at customers.
Would not recommend this place one bit. Save yourself the trip and your money and go...
Read moreThis cute little mexican place is conveniently located on main street in downtown Twin. It's a little tricky to find parking because it's on the corner of the street, but there is a parking lot near the back if you don't mind walking a short distance. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. The lunch special between 11-3 is a great value of both quality and quantity. The staff are mostly friendly, when I went they seemed a little bit distant at first (it was a slow rainy day) but they were attentive to our needs and quick with the service. Overall it was a good experience and I wouldn't mind coming again if I were at an event or something going...
