I used the online ordering app to place my order. I ordered 2 lunch specials - First one was Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, with my choices I picked “very hot” and in special instructions asked for NO green pepper. I also chose the side of egg drop soup and in the same instructions I asked for no green pepper, I asked for them to put green onions in the soup. My 2nd pick was the chicken lo mein, in the special instructions on that one I asked that they substitute shrimp and that I would pay the difference.
I give it 2 stars because the food was ready and hot when I got there, however my Shrimp with Garlic sauce was not even a tiny bit spicy, like NO kick or fire at all! It also had green peppers, yet my soup had the green onions. They obviously saw the special instructions. The lo mein was chicken, which one could argue is what the primary order said, however the special instructions clearly state otherwise and if they could not accommodate they should have called or just not made it and put a note on my order.
I love Chinese food and most of ya know that when we order something specific it’s because it’s our craving and this just completely missed every spot of craving I...
Read moreWe were looking for a new Chinese place and chose China 1. I ordered from this restaurant through door dash, and two of my items were wrong. I left a note to please omit vegetables and add extra onions, not knowing if there would be bean sprouts or carrots in the fried rice, and instead everything including onions were left out. The shrimp in our other friend rice order was not clean, it still had the digestive tract in tact. When I called about both of these items, the gentleman on the line at first told us he was looking at our order at the restaurant being made when it had been delivered and was sitting on my kitchen table. He then argued about how they get the shrimp from their supplier, wash, and cook it but did not mention anything about cleaning it, and instead of contacting me to confirm the onion issue he took things as remove all onions (which is fine, that was a miscommunication on both of us).
What I don’t appreciate is the hostility and argumentative tone from this gentleman, and that instead of trying to resolve these issues just told me to “get your money back from doordash.” We will not be ordering...
Read moreThe food was fine/decent and plentiful so I figured they deserved a couple stars. My main complaint was that my online order was stolen and I ended up waiting about an hour before a new order was made. I went inside around the time my order was scheduled for pick up, told them my order info, and it seemed as if my order was being worked on. So I sat to wait. In the meantime, I watched at least 8 doordashers get their food. When I was finally the last person, they asked again for my order info and told me it had been taken by someone else. So I had to wait another 15 minutes for a new order to be made.
If you have never been in the restaurant before, you walk in the door and immediately there are two or three long tables where the bags of food get set. The cashier and kitchen are at least 15 feet behind the table. There is no checking on if someone got the right order or accountability. So I can totally understand how someone could easily take an order. But hey, they got $75 of free...
