The Perfect Blend of Poetry, Coffee, and Community
I've been to my fair share of coffee shops, and I can honestly say that the one nestled in the heart of Tyler is a true standout. Having frequented this cozy haven for the past year, I am eager to share my experience with fellow coffee lovers.
From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted with the warmest welcome, making it easy to become a regular in no time. The charming, original interior creates a comfortable atmosphere that just invites you to sit back and unwind. The walls are adorned with paintings, enough coffee options to keep you content, and a style to be found only from Mr. Brady himself. (Ask to read his poetry!)
One of the most striking features of this coffee shop is its unbeatable pricing. Despite the high-quality offerings, the prices are the best in town, making it the perfect spot for coffee enthusiasts on a budget. Furthermore, the baristas are not only friendly and knowledgeable, but they also take pride in crafting each cup of coffee with precision and care. I recommend trying the Oracle (hidden menu option) or the Brady Special.
The coffee itself is truly a masterpiece. Sourced from the finest beans, it boasts a rich and smooth flavor that is nothing short of amazing. Pair your favorite brew with one of the delectable pastries available, and you're in for a delightful treat. Get the cookies!
This coffee shop is not just a haven for those looking to savor their caffeine fix. With its calming ambiance and ample seating, it also serves as one of the best places to go study or work in Tyler. The background music and the subtle hum of friendly chatter make for the ideal environment to focus and get things done.
In conclusion, this original coffee shop in Tyler is a hidden gem that deserves to be on every coffee lover's radar. With its inviting atmosphere, exceptional coffee, and unmatched prices, it is not just a place to grab a quick cup, but also a hub for cultivating a sense of community and family. Whether you're in search of a quiet spot to study, a place to catch up with friends, or simply to indulge in a delicious cup of joe, this coffee shop is the perfect...
Read moreI went to Brady's yesterday for the first time. If you enjoy drip coffee with flavored creamers, this is the place for you. However, I ordered a latte with no flavoring expecting an espresso with steamed milk. What I received was a very watery coffee like fluid with a strong artificial flavoring reminiscent of the creamers added instead of milk. There weren't many customers in the place, so I am doubtful it was someone else's drink. I never saw or heard an espresso machine. I looked around waiting and saw several large glass containers with coffee beans in them. None had a date of roast. That large a volume in a small shop makes me think they have a lot of old and stale beans. If they genuinely thought they were selling me a good quality espresso, that is sad indeed. I hope they seek help and learn how to pull a good shot and the importance of fresh beans properly roasted. I have had espresso in many places across the planet. That cup was absolutely the worst I have ever had. If they are disingenuous and serving drip coffee and calling it espresso, that is shameful. I wish that they take the time and go have a quality espresso and learn what it is before serving more of what I was served. I would not wish...
Read moreWe were in Tyler for a short trip and happened upon this lovely shop. First, the coffee is great here!! My husband loved his triple shot Americana. We each ordered a very fresh, warmed-up banana-nut muffin for breakfast. I am a tea drinker and ordered the London Fog. Oh my!!! So good!!! The server was outstanding and was helping so many customers with enthusiasm and a smile. As for the coffee shop-There was a sign on the wall that said it all: "We must love them both, those whose opinions we share and those whose opinions we reject, for both have labored in the search for truth, and both have helped us in finding it. St. Thomas Aquinas"đ¤ If only we could ALL (myself included) carry out this love and kindness into our communities each day. The shop is a quiet, peaceful place that doesn't allow cell phone calls which is so very refreshing. Patrons were studying quietly while others were gathering, treating their friends and neighbors with coffee. Such a kind and beautiful experience. The shop sells tea leaves and ground coffee and beans by the pound. Five glorious...
