Walking into Braum’s is like stepping into a dairy dreamland where cows would cry tears of joy—if they weren’t too busy being legends. The moment I opened the door, I was udderly overwhelmed by the scent of fresh waffle cones and lactose-fueled happiness.
Their ice cream? Creamier than a soap opera plot twist. I ordered a scoop of Rocky Road and nearly moo’d with joy. It was so rich, I felt like I owed it child support. Every bite was a dairy tale come true.
The staff was chill, like milk straight from the fridge. One teen with a visor and a thousand-yard stare handed me a double scoop with the enthusiasm of a cow at a Chick-fil-A protest—but I respect that kind of emotional range in food service.
Don’t even get me started on the burgers. I took one bite and said, “Holy cow.” Literally. I think the grill has magical beef powers. The fries were crispy, salty perfection—like if a golden retriever were a potato.
Bonus points for the attached grocery section, where you can buy everything from Braum’s milk (so fresh it probably still remembers the cow’s name) to butter that spreads smoother than a...
Read moreGreat Food, Terrible Customer Service**
I've been to Braum's twice now, and while the food never disappoints, the customer service leaves much to be desired. During my recent visit, I utilized the drive-thru, and from the get-go, it was clear the staff were not up to par. The employee taking my order seemed impatient and audibly sighed as I took a moment to decide. When I reached the window, there was confusion about my order, leading to further delays. Additionally, a simple request for ranch seemed to provoke unnecessary frustration from the staff. To top it off, they didn't have ketchup, which is a basic condiment that one would expect a fast-food restaurant to have readily available. While Braum's food is consistently delicious, the disappointing service at this location makes it hard...
Read moreMy chicken tenders were raw. It was later in the evening and they took forever to get our order, we waited in line for over 10 minutes with only one woman in front of us but the woman taking the orders seemed new and couldn't figure out what the customer in front of us wanted. Another worker was trying to help her but was being quite rude to the poor other employee which I didn't appreciate, I would have overlooked the fact that it was a long wait to order just because they were training but the "trainer" was acting like everything was annoying and treating a fellow human being like trash. I can only assume that the drive thru was more busy than inside the store. But it doesn't excuse my food being raw, and it being nearly 25 minutes for it to come out from a fast...
