Topp's Pizza — Restaurant in Tyler

100% can say this is the best pizza in Tyler Texas. We had a standard crust pepperoni with olives and a thin crust half and half pizza which consisted of cheeseburger and the other half was a meat lovers.

First, let's talk about the half and half pizza. Love the idea, especially for somebody like me who can never decide on what they want to eat. Getting two different types of pizza in one is delicious and the best part is it doesn't cost you extra like all the other places. The crust was paper thin exactly the way I like it.

As far as the pepperoni with olives, this was kid approved with the standard thicker crust which was pillowy and chewy.

Now let's talk about the toppings. Both pizzas were covered from edge to edge with toppings. Nowadays most pizza places have gotten so cheap on their toppings and their cheese. So basically all you get is dough and sauce but not here. Topps pizza literally tops their pizzas with so many toppings!!!!

From reviews I've read and from other family members and friends they do have quite a long wait for pizza during normal busy times. If you order off time like I did at 3:00 p.m. will get to you in 30...

My husband was working at the Trane plant doing construction when Topps opened. He ended up ordering from them because he just didn’t have the time to go any further away for his lunch break.... And I am SO glad he did! I wish I could give this place 10 stars!

We live about thirty minutes away, but I am willing (and happy to) skip over the other six pizza places that are closer to us, just to go to Topps. The food is phenomenal. We almost always order the same thing, and Denise knows my husbands order “It’s for Brian” is usually all I have to say. 😂 She is a wonderful woman who is always bubbly and happy to see you.

I usually call when I am about 15 minutes away, and 9/10 times they are boxing it as I walk in. That 1/10 times it’s ready within 3 minutes.

There’s another woman working there (Kendra I think?) whom I met today. She seemed to have just as lovely of a personality as Denise!

This has been my only pizza place since they opened, and I cannot think of any reason why that...

The owner, Denise, is super friendly and although I had to reorder and wait due to their 3rd party app not sending the original order I didn't mind because I was able to see first hand how she works hand in hand with her employees. She not only told, she showed.. from making the dough, manipulating the dough, layering the pizza, putting in the oven, inspecting upon coming out etc. It was so seamless that if you didn't know she was the owner, you would have thought she was a manager at best, never putting herself above her employees. Totally what leadership is about and to top it off the pizza was superb. Fresh ingredients made with love and the wings were 🔥. This is DEFINITELY NOT a wet wing, it gives THAT crunch that you want from a buffalo wing dipped into ranch dressing. Something told me to that I might need to add another order when I saw a couple people have double orders, I definitely will...
