Taco Bell — Restaurant in Umatilla

Well all things considered this was a good meal. A bit pricey but tasted good. So happy to see that they brought back the green sauce. That's the best sauce ever. Now if we can just get them to bring back the Taco Light with the awesome fried flour light and flaky shell. That and the Encharito are some favorites of mine. Unfortunately they don't make their ingredients fresh at the restaurant. Everything is prepared and frozen elsewhere so the employees never actually cook anything. Taco Bell was my first job and I was so proud to actually cook the food we served at our location. We cooked the meat and mixed in the seasonings. We actually pressure cooked our own beans too. We also prepared all our fresh vegetables as needed. We were actually cooks. Those were the days. Disappointed in the changes made for mobile orders. Mobile orders at a Taco Bell fast food shouldn't have wait times for pick up like a longhorns or chilis wait time to prepare the order. Especially of reasonable size, an order for two. We entered the drive thru and said we had a mobile order and the worker asked what our order time was? It showed 30 minutes after we placed the order. Yet drive thru was empty and hardly anyone inside ordering. Mobile orders are supposed to be convenient for fast food ordering. I don't typically place an order if I am 30 minutes away. 5-10 is typical. This is a bad system. I could have pulled up to the speaker and ordered which makes everyone work harder and forget things, but would have gotten my food a lot faster and probably with error. This...

This place has gone from 5 to 0 for me. Sucks because it used to be a go to place. Update (I keep trying) 17Aug25 1715 hrs visit...Wow! I didn't think it could get worse. The quesadilla was burnt/cardboard tasting, and they forgot the side of fries and cheese I ordered! But stupid me chose no receipt at the kiosk and can't confront them with this issue. Holy Crud. There is so much potential to be that 5 star rated. Make sure you get a receipt and check your receipt before going home... actually check your food too...this place is downhill. Holy heck...mind you the dirty tables, and homeless peops allowed to reside over their drink for hours. This place is disgusting. Should be closed down until better management...
