sugarcoated — Restaurant in Union City

Literally here rn as I write this and it’s so good. Staff is sweet and helpful as well! It’s so clean and the prices are really good! Also their health inspection score is a 100!

EDIT SINCE NEW OWNERSHIP ⬇️ written on 5-27-23 I just went a few days ago and it’s still really good! They have new flavors of ice cream and froyo. I recommend the Monster Batter; it’s my favorite. They still have the same toppings (from what I remember.) They also have cookies now. My first review was incorrectly tagged as we visited a different shop. Sugarcoated in Union City is top notch for everything! Service with a smile from the newest employee to the owners. The shop is CLEAN, including the bathrooms. I'd give them 10 stars just for this if I could. The frozen yogurt, hands down THE BEST around. We drive 1.5 hrs one way each time to enjoy their yogurt. They have a lot of delicious looking choices on their menu if froyo is not your thing, they also have ice cream and drinks and even delicious dessert stuff like campfire cookies! Ice cream was good however a couple of the froyo machines were down and the dole whip one i used wasn't working really well. It seemed like they could all use a good scrub down. The parents and kids scoop of ice cream were huge though so that's a plus. Just I think the machines need better taken care of and cleaned better.
