UC Pizza — Restaurant in Union City

Ordered 2 Large Pizzas and 2 orders of garlic knots from this place through what I thought was a delivery app. It turns out it was placed for pick up. Don't know where the confusion occured, I received texts saying the order would be ready later then expected. 30 minutes after the projected text time, I receive a call saying my food has been ready, when am I picking it up? I explain it should be a delivery and I been waiting for it to be delivered. She rudely stated that it is a pick up come get your order. After explaining again it's a delivery I do not have a way to pick this order up, Is there a way you can deliver it to me, she places me on hold and after a minute comes back and says she can have it delivered but make sure to take good care of the driver for bringing it to me. I replied I already tipped on my card and she said there was no tip. We hang up and I check my bill and I did tip on my card. When the delivery guy shows up, pretty quickly tbh, I tip him cash and bring my order in. Everything is ice cold. The pizza cheese is one big cold piece. Not a drop of steam. I call back and I get the same lady. I explain to her I took care of her driver as she had instructed, why is my food ice cold. She eagerly replied it was a pick up order, they are busy, and she decided it was a good idea to send my order out cold. I should have picked it up. I replied this is unacceptable that you sent ice cold food and made me double tip for cold food and say it's my fault!! She then put me on hold and try to lie to my face and say now "that they did heat it up for 3 minutes only and that's why it's not as hot as it could be and that if they heated it up more that the pizza would burn". I broke down for her real quick that a 500 degree pizza oven in three minutes for a pizza would bring it at least to 350-400 degrees and then you put in a box that holds heat that brings it to me. The pizza came with in ten minutes of the first call and it's a ten minute ride to my house. How are you really lying to my face lol?? I don't know why it wasn't delivered in the first place, but the whole situation was handled so poorly. Whoever this lady on the phone was should stay far away from the phone and people and learn...

This has been the most disappointing experience I’ve ever had order food for my family on Father’s Day on to receive a wrong order and on top of that there food is horrible no flavor cold the food isn’t even edible the woman who answered the phone couldn’t even tell me who her manager was I asked to speak to someone in charge and she had absolutely no idea who that was the chicken Alfredo was disgusting and my wife ordered chicken in garlic and oil with penne and it was so horrible we through out our entire order out after realizing that we were on the phone with uc pizza for 20 mins with no resolution and not 1 apology they didn’t even offer to fix the order to what was actually ordered!! I wish there was an option for zero stars because your pizzeria is a disgrace to our community!!!! Thank you UC Pizza for ruining my FATHERS DAY Waste of 50 dollars only to throw it out and end up ordering from an actual pizzeria that actually deserves my money I hope you guys get shut down because from the looks of these reviews your restaurant is just stealing peoples money and has been getting away with it to long I don’t not wish this experience on my worst enemy by far worst food...

Horrible customer service! I could not select more than one topping for pizza. Called to get extra topping and was told ‘I can’t add to a postmates submitted order. I asked to be charged separately via uc pizza point of sale system. I was told it would be an ‘extra charge’ and he said ok. An hour passes by, I call to check on my pizza and was told ‘postmates is slow’ I said well my pizza will be cold now.his reply was ‘oh it’s on top of the oven’ I then reconfirmed my extra cheese request and was told ‘oh it was made as submitted’ I said what does that mean, is there extra cheese or not Bc you confirmed with me an hour ago. So then he goes on this tirade that I shouldn’t of ordered through postmates but on the site and he can’t charge this it that. I’m like well why would you lie and say that you could charge me for extra cheese? Smfh. I told him I no longer wanted the order since it wasn’t made to my specifications. He still allowed the postmates driver to pick up the order, just so he could turn around and drop it right back off to Uc pizza.

I will never order from this place again. One thing I don’t like is bad business, a liar, and cold pizza. TRASH...
