HOW IS THIS A TOP RATED HOTEL No reception, just like Airbnb they give you text about your mission to find the keys and enter the room. My room is on 4th floor and of course no elevator. It doesn’t look ANYTHING like what it’s on the internet. It smells like cigarette I’m getting nauseous. But ok it is fine. Room is cheap.i BUT absolutely no privacy, I can hear everything going on next room, hallway, stairs, and even down stairs. At random time afternoon, some guy was knocking on every room’s door and opening them. It was not room service since it seems to take 5 mins for each room. When he knocked on my door I asked “could you come later?” And he answered “Yeah I’ll come back next month” in the most sarcastic tone. I could hear some men(maybe employees) breaking into the rooms and I was scared to death and had to lock my door and waited until they seemed to be gone to get out of my room. Also the doors have touch lock and mine seems to be broken so i can’t even lock my room. I’m just praying no one steals my stuff. I’m staying here until Tuesday and im scared to go back to the hotel. Also the bed is the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. PLEASE PLEASE everyone there’s reason for the price. You will experience what cheap...
Read moreLadies and gentlemen, I am an experienced travel and if I know anything it is how to travel on a dime. I found this place, read the reviews and read many of the responses. I like when an owner bites back, I like when an owner has pride in what they provide. So, in that I bit the bullet and made a reservation. It's fast, easy, you just gotta make sure you are okay with either sharing a bathroom or paying a little more for an en suit. The place was clean with the bus stop for NY right there on the corner. I was on the top floor so it was nice and quiet. No weird smells, no feeling of being watched. I loved it. The cleaning staff are kind and attentive. I even messed up my reservation and had myself checking out a day earlier than I meant to. I was in the middle of Manhattan when I got the call. I was prepared to beg for just one more night but it was no trouble at all. They asked if they could charge the same card and it was easy as that. They emailed me a new code for the door as well as my room and I was on my way. The call took probably fifteen seconds. I will be returning next year with a buddy of mine. Shefah, you...
Read moreThis accommodation is not truly a hotel, as it lacks many typical hotel amenities. There is only one shared bathroom for 7-9 rooms on the ground floor, which is inconvenient. Additionally, there is no dedicated parking for the building - only street parking that is difficult to find available spots.
The rooms are smaller than expected and are not cleaned daily by housekeeping staff. The only positive aspect is the location, which is about a 17 minute to Times Square (Using a Bus) and a 25 minute back. There are a couple nearby coffee shops and a gas station with a small convenience store, which is somewhat helpful.
Overall, the accommodations are substandard compared to what one would expect from a hotel. Given the poor bathroom situation, small rooms, and lack of daily cleaning, I would likely spend more to stay at a better quality accommodation elsewhere in lower Manhattan. This is especially true since I was already feeling unwell before my stay and my condition worsened while staying at this property. The location convenience does not make up for the...
