DONT COME HERE. DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!!Came to this place for the first time. Was almost empty. Staff was friendly and we had a new server wait on us. Very friendly and attentive. We order food and everything seemed great. It came and we immediately dig into it and were really enjoying it. As I was eating (literally with my hands and mouth on ALL food inside the bag) I started to notice that me and my husband had a lot of food in our bags. I doubled checked the ticket and looks like the sever double our order which was supposed to be for (2) clusters into a (4) cluster order. Easy mistake to make for someone who started that day and had NO ONE training him when taking our order. I was not upset just simply did not want to be charged extra for something I wasn't expecting to get let alone DOUBLE as my husband had the same mistake made for his order. I called a waiter and stated there must have been a mistake and would gladly try and sort it out. He comes back stating that HIS BOSS asked to remove our plates (to remove the extra clusters) and bring it back. I immediately declined as I was already half way thru my meal and did not want my food being handled. Asked to speak to THE BOSS who had a terrible face on to begin with. Told her what she wanted to do as I refused to have my plate taken away. Even offered to leave the extra clusters in the bag to be thrown out after we left. My intention was not to eat them. She brought over a tray and had us place the extra clustes of crab on them and walked away. I have never felt so uneasy about something. I've worked in food business and would have NEVER taken food off of someone's plate if they have already started especially if the mistake was of the food establishment. I would only HOPE they threw out the extra clusters that have already been handled with my mouth and hands inside the bag. Especially with COVID still being a thing. Feel very unhappy with the outcome and would most likely never return nor recommend. Something so small could easily just be the tip of the iceberg for cross contamination and hygiene. Read moreI recently visited Aloha Crab in Union, New Jersey, during their First Fridays event featuring DJ Keith. The atmosphere was lively, with a packed house enjoying the music, which is where the positives ended for me.
After soaking in the vibe for a while, I decided to order some food to go. However, when I received my bill, I was shocked to see a 20% gratuity added, even though it was a takeout order. When I raised my concern with the bartender, her indifferent response was both rude and disheartening.
After waiting 45 minutes for my order, I was informed that it had already been sent out, despite me sitting in the same chair the entire time. I ended up having to go to the kitchen to retrieve my order from a manager, who assured me it was correct. However, the trouble didn’t stop there. After a 35-minute drive home, I discovered that my order was completely wrong. Instead of the crab fried rice and scallops I had ordered, I received crab fries with extra crab.
I attempted to resolve the issue by calling the restaurant seven times, only to be met with unhelpful responses from staff members who sounded far too young to be managing customer concerns. When I finally reached a manager, she promised to fix my order and urged me to return. At this point, I was more interested in a refund than another trip back.
I made the drive once more, and when I finally received my replacement order, it was another disappointment—just fried rice with a splash of crab. Not only was the food subpar, but the entire experience left me utterly frustrated and dissatisfied.
To top it all off, when I called the restaurant to speak with the owner about my experience, I was met with more indifference and was not allowed to speak with anyone who could address my concerns seriously.

Read moreI stopped by recently and sat at the bar for a quick dinner this was my experience: 1 - Ordered a Margarita (this drink had no flavor) It was like a Tequila martini and even after chugging it they never came back to ask if I wanted another. This was a loss of revenue because I usually have at least 2 -3 at dinner. 2 - Ordered Calamari and the Krab Fries. Calamari came first and for Calamari it was over cooked but not bad it was edible. It came with a very small cup of Marinara sauce. I asked for another cup after the first ran out. It came pretty quick but the sauce was COLD (so gross). 3 - Then came the Krab Fries. They did not look like the picture. The picture has the crab meat sprinkled on the fries. This was a glob of what appeared to be shredded crab meat mixed with mayo and some orange spice. I tried but I could not eat it. 4 - Someone was smoking a Cigar and smelled up the entire restaurant.
So besides the drink (which I could have tolerated), the cold marinara sauce with my Calamari and the nasty Krab Fries If I would give this place a less than 1 star I would. The darn Calamari is still repeating on me the next day. Visit at...
