My review focuses solely on customer service. I attempted multiple times to call this establishment to place a phone order for a large group of about 20 people. After many unsuccessful tries, I finally managed to reach a staff member today. Unfortunately, the woman I spoke with was unpleasant and rushed me off the phone.
I explained that I needed breakfast for around 20 individuals, but she offered no suggestions or even basic information about the menu. When I requested two dozen bagels and asked for more details about the different types, her irritation was evident. She abruptly told me to just come in and order since I didn't know what I wanted. I clarified that I live far away and only wanted to order from this establishment because it was near the event for which I needed the food. Clearly, she did not care.
It wasn’t that I was unsure; I simply wanted further information about the items and how things worked. I was hoping for some simple options and a clear layout so that I could have everything ready for pickup this weekend. This place needs to prioritize customer service; no one should have to endure such an experience, especially for a large order. If a business is careless with large orders, it raises concerns about how they handle individual orders.
During what felt like about five minutes on the phone, the worker only grew more impatient. She then told me to hold on, and after waiting for about a minute, the call was abruptly disconnected without any callback. I am appalled by the disrespect and lack of care I experienced. It’s disheartening because I was unable to try the food and promote it for my group due to this poor customer service. Read moreTerrible service! I provided a written list for my order to help them remember and they still manage to mess up my order. This is not the first, second or third time they have messed it up. When I order a variety of selected bagels to go I come home with the surprise they added the wrong bagels. The bagels are good which is the only reason why I go back but the service my friend is terrible! They don’t understand the best recipe in building a great relationship with your customers is consistency, deliver the right order provide accuracy so their customers fee the need to come back to place. The the other way around! It’s sad I heard many positive things about this place and I’m new to the town but they just keep messing up my orders. I don’t know what else to do. I tried speaking with the manager and he or she is never there or maybe unavailable or maybe the ladies just didn’t understand what I was asking for. I added the kind of sandwich they prepared is looks terrible sloppy and is all wrong. I feel bad for the place I had to give 1 star the bagels are really good and fresh but the employees there need to step it up and stop making mistakes on peoples orders. There is a reason why I don’t order certain bagels. I have members of the family that are allergic to cinnamon and I have members that are allergic to poppy seed. And ironically they keep putting that in my bag instead of what I actually order. No cool! I can’t call because it rings out and they are not taking...
Read moreI just moved to the jersey area my fiancé and I. This definitely gave NY vibes the food. Bacon egg and cheeses/ turkey bacon is a 10/10. Bagels are delicious. However the service sucks. Every time we go in we aren't greeted properly sometimes some the woman don't even speak they just look up at us with the pads. I do think the customer service can be better. We had ordered two sandwiches and however my fiancé asked if we can get the bagels toasted, obviously not in the toaster because the sandwiches were made already but pressed on the grill... there must of been a language barrier or I'm not sure what was going on but the young girl told us " no" its not possible... we were so confused, if anyone is paying for something and your dealing with peoples food it shouldn't even of been a back and forth and it should of never been an issue to just press the sandwiches down to our liking, that's the only way we were going to eat the food. We then tell the girl we no longer want the food it's okay since you cant press it on the grill seconds later another girl with RED LIPSTICK comes over and she starts laughing saying " we can not re make the sandwiches or toast them, you can do whatever you want to do" ... my fiancé and I just looked at each other and said thanks for your service.
