I decided to try Master Pizza in Union because I had a busy day and didn't have time to cook. I had a local flavor certificate, so I figured I'd just get dinner from here. I ordered for 5 people. I ordered the Napoli sandwich. The description of Napoli is "Napoli is served with Turkey, Roasted Peppers, Balsamic Vinaigrette, Fresh Mozzarella." When I picked up my order, I checked it as I do from anyplace I order from as I have gotten incorrect orders in the past. I opened the napoli sandwich, and it was hot. No where in the description does it say "hot sandwich." The roasted peppers were missing and the bread was toasted. When I mentioned it to the girl behind the counter, she literally snatched and turned around and walked to the kitchen. The gentleman behind the counter was just as nasty as she was. At this point, I told the other girl, who was much more pleasant to just give me my certificate back and i'll turn it in to local flavor for a credit for somewhere else because that girl was just nasty and I do not even want my order. She had already redeemed it with local flavor, so I basically had no choice other than to pay the difference and take my food. We came home and I didn't even want to eat. The bread on my sandwich was almost black on most parts and hard as a rock. I ordered the sandwich with extra mozzarella and was charged for it, but it had one thin layer across the whole sandwich. I ate the insides only as the bread was hard as a rock. I tasted a bite, and I can only imagine that they over toasted it because it was so stale. Fresh semolina bread should never be toasted. My husband ordered a turkey club, which is traditionally on toast, but was on a stale toasted sub roll instead. I felt especially bad for my 10 year daughter. All she ordered was 2 sides of meatballs. She ate 3 of the 4 and said she was full. When I went to put the other away, it was cold. Not cool, but just out of the refrigerator cold, as was the sauce it was in. I asked her why she didn't say anything and she said it didn't bother her. She is only 10, but I told her to always say something, especially if her food is that cold. I cannot imagine that these people own 4 restaurants. Most of the staff was rude and nasty, the bread was stale and or burnt to the point of being inedible and the food was cold. I have learned my lesson. I should have read some of the reviews before ordering from here. I usually order from Fior D'italia, but they are closed on Sundays. I have been ordering from them for years and never had an issued. The food is always fresh and the staff is professional and friendly, not to mention on point with...
Read moreI'm old school so when I want pizza I go to a place that makes it the old fashion way, that takes me back to when pizza was fifteen cents a slice and Master Pizza is it but I when I went in for my pizza I decided to try instead the spaghetti with meat sauce to eat there, and the cost for a small order with bread was $11.00 so I ordered that, the large came with a salad. The food arrived at my table very quickly and to see what I received you would think it would have been longer. For a small, the portion size was much larger than expected, the meat sauce looked like he simmer it for hours. Nice, thick, meaty, and as a added plus he had slices of garlic all over it. Now, of all the food I love to eat, spaghetti is number one with a bullet, I can eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner so it better be right and he made it just the way I like it, hearty and delicious. I was seated next to a mom with a young son, so I didn't want to give the child a bad example on eating a meal, if it wasn't for that, I would have been all over that spaghetti with both hands, it was that good, I did sop up sauce with the bread, but I did not lick my fingers. Even though the portion was more than I wanted, I ate every drop. This is a winner!! Personally, I don't cook with salt but this had a nice saltyness to it, but they should drop it down a smig, just a smig, make the bread room temperature, mine was cold, add a very small salad and at $11.00 I would definitely be back for more, that spaghetti took me back to the days when life was all...
Read moreLong time ago, maybe 2014, I ordered from them and was overall unimpressed. We decided to order from them a few months ago and everything changed for the better. We originally tried the pepperoni pizza, 3x peps and it was fantastic. The dough is well made so the crust is delicious, the actual flavor of the toppings is fantastic too. A year later, we have also tried the "supreme" style pizza, and it addicting as to how good it is. Nowadays we keep going from pepperoni one day to the supreme another, lol, but we always want to try other pizzas but these are just so damned good.
Another thing I was extremely please with was the Chicken tenders. They were fried perfectly with good crunch, and are well sized so you dont feel ripped off.
Picked up once, but usually order delivery. Delivery is always on time and quick, in person service is exactly what it needs to be.
Will keep...
