I came in for a quick lunch, not a religious experience — but here we are.
I ordered a lamb and beef gyro “for my wife” (sure), took one bite, and immediately betrayed every vow I ever made. The meat? Unreal. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, tasted like it was hand-delivered by Zeus himself. The pita? Warm, soft, and basically edible luxury. And the onions? Let’s talk about the onions. Please.
Because apparently, someone left a one-star review because the onions had… wait for it… a smell. Imagine walking into a bakery and being offended by the scent of bread. That’s what we’re dealing with here.
Dear One-Star Onion Hater: THEY’RE ONIONS. They’re supposed to have a smell. That’s literally their whole thing. If your onions don’t hit your nose like a slap from Poseidon, then you’re not eating a gyro — you’re eating sadness wrapped in disappointment.
These onions were so fresh they probably still had emotional baggage from being pulled out of the ground. They were glorious. They belonged there. Unlike your review.
And then — as if the gods hadn’t blessed this place enough — I tried the baklava. One bite and I was mentally sipping ouzo in a linen shirt on the coast of Santorini. The only thing that brought me back was my wife asking where her lunch went. (Sorry babe. I blacked out.)
This place is spotless, the staff are saints, and the food is outrageously good.
To sum it up: 5 stars. Amazing food. Magical baklava. Legendary onions. And to the person who left that one-star review… maybe next time try chewing with your taste buds, not...
Read moreI am so sorry you couldn't sleep but maybe that was your conscious. Each time I receive an order from your restaurant, you give the exact same coupon; I have like 6. I've only used 1, tell me where it states I can only use 1? I am a paralegal so I am quite knowledgeable on the law. If your going to give coupons with restrictions, that needs to be stated in writing. You lose a faithful customer over $7.00 after I've spent close to $500.00 with your business. That shows me the type of business you run. Instead of honoring the coupon, you resort to legal matters, wow. I don't need an attorney, I can represent myself for free..lol. Customer service will make or break a business, period.
Unfortunately I am being forced to change my 5 star review. I absolutely love their food however their customer service and integrity has recently changed. I order from this restaurant at least 5 or more times a month and the last two times I used a coupon that was given to me each time I ordered. Since they are no longer on UberEats, I drive 25 minutes to frequent this restaurant. Yesterday I go into the store to pick up my order and my coupon was not honored. I called and asked about it and the man lied by saying the coupon came off but it did not reflect on my end. I checked my bank account and the coupon wasn't applied. I then sent an email about my account was was told no. While I love their food, our friends and family will no longer support this...
Read moreBest greek food place I have come across in the 20 years I am in the US. First, they actually serve real gyro, the way they make it in Greece. Second, the food is delicious. Third, employees and management are very friendly and accommodate all requests. All you have to do is ask. I highly recommend the gyro (pork is my favorite but chicken is great too), yaya’s boy burger (easily on my top 3 burgers I have ever eaten), the pork souvlaki, the mixed grill platters (small or large, they are great quality and value and would serve you well if you are having guests) and the bougatsa (custard cream wrapped in filo dough) which is a favorite in my hometown, Thessaloniki, and a great side to have with your coffee on a lazy weekend morning. Souvlaqueria also serves delicious ice cream and they have a small section where you can find high quality and reasonably priced Greek food items (olive oil, sweets/candy, food etc.). Overall, the quality of the food you get is better than most higher end restaurants in the area. The quantity of the food is also great. I read a couple of reviewers complained about how much the food was but I am really surprised. I eat more than the average person and most times I end up having food left for next day. Finally, the price is unbeatable for the quality and quantity of the food you get. Highly recommended, a breath of fresh air in the Greek food restaurant business!! Don’t miss the opportunity to have real...
