Came to B&J to enjoy some ice cream. But the service alone pushed us away. Walked in the store to Steve who seemed to be having a bad day. Instead of helping my friend and I out to some ice cream; he decided that he’d continue to do prep work @7:40 pm. For quite some time at that. Didn’t say that he’d be with us in a second or anything. We also asked if we could go to the restroom while he was “busy” and he told us that we could go elsewhere. Maybe they need more (better) workers. Contacting better business bureau bc I doubt that this review will change anything, sadly.

The Ben & Jerry's on Delmar in St. Louis is a fantastic spot for a sweet treat! The staff are always friendly and patient, even when there's a line out the door (which is usually a good sign!). They have all the classic Ben & Jerry's flavors you know and love, plus some unique offerings. The ice cream is always creamy and packed with those delicious chunks and swirls. It's the perfect place to grab a cone, cup, or milkshake and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the Delmar Loop. Definitely a must-visit for ice cream lovers in St. Louis!

Great place for an ice cream after dining at one of the loop restaurants. Good choice of ice creams and cones . Absolutely loved the seven layered coconut ice cream in a waffle cone coated with chocolate and peanuts . The size of the cone seemed to be a bit bigger than my choice unless you want to fill up your stomach just eating the cone . The staff is friendly and helpful. Good music too.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Ben & Jerry’s. After ordering a milkshake, I was handed it with the lid barely on and told to fix it myself. When I set it down to secure the lid, the cup slipped and spilled everywhere. I immediately apologized and started cleaning it up with help from my friend and even nearby customers—while the two employees stood by and did nothing.

Despite the spill being caused by the improperly placed lid, one of the workers asked if I was going to pay for it. I agreed and paid. Two minutes later, I returned to get a replacement. The second employee pointed me back to the original staff member, who clearly didn’t want to make it and had to be reminded by his coworker to do so. After they made the milkshake—messily—the first employee then told me I needed to pay again.

When I asked why, they claimed I “dropped” the first one and that they had used extra resources. I explained it hadn’t been dropped—it slipped while I was trying to secure the lid—and that I had already paid. The first employee then ASKED ME if I knew how gravity works and lectured me on how to correctly put on a lid. They never informed me ahead of time that I’d be charged again, even though both employees were fully aware of the situation while making the replacement.

When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told there wasn’t one. The entire experience felt careless, dismissive and rude, and I left with a milkshake I no longer felt safe to drink. I wouldn’t expect this kind of condescension or lack of basic customer service from a place like...

The last time we went to this location we had great service and ice cream last winter. We went yesterday and the service was awful. We requested kids cup at the kids price, the worker said they didn’t have any. So we requested smalls. The lids weren’t put on properly and ice cream for 5 leaked everywhere. We requested napkins and a sack. No word response was given. Just a shake of the head no. Also the ice cream was not fresh. It had freezer burn on every flavor and tasted stale. My cherry garcia had chunks of nuts in it even though that flavor has none. For a family of 5 it was somehow 38 bucks even though calculations say differently but we had already left. It would have been cheaper to go to a store and buy two pints. Frustrating because funds are limited and wanted the kids to have a nice afternoon and it all essentially went in the trash. I’m not one to type reviews. I give my stars and go but this...

I really had a hankering for the original Ben & Jerry's experience. Unfortunately, I chose the Delmar loop shop. when I walked in the employee that I first saw was serving a customer ice cream and licking the excess off his fingers and still serving.

Lastly, before I left, an employee took a gallon of milk dropped it started leaking out of the bottom and they were going to take the excess milk and pour it in a lemonade bottle that still had lemonade in it. They were simply going to empty the lemonade rinse out the receptacle and pour the excess milk in. I didn't want my chocolate shake to taste like a bad combination of water, lemonade, and chocolate so we decided to leave.

Judging from the reviews i probably should have read them before I went....
