I've been to several Panera locations and this one is by far the worst. I have tried to like this particular location several times but this will be my last time here. The customer service is terrible starting with the front counter. The young ladies seem to be bothered to take an order and I don't think my order is too difficult. Same turkey sandwich every time -nothing special. On this particular time I asked for the chicken Caesar salad sandwich along with the turkey sandwich. I realize it is an off menu item (so I've been told by another manager) but they will make it if requested. The young lady rolled her eyes when I asked if she could check to see if they would make it. She came back and said "its discontinued so you can't have it so choose another sandwich because I'm not giving you that one". I changed my order and went to wait for my food. I asked to speak to the manager before I left and asked him why this was the only location that won't make that sandwich even if it's an off menu item. He replied " no one should be making that sandwich and I will speak to everyone. If you don't see it on the menu you should not order it. It's a discontinued item." Ok fine. Panera has good food but it's not "to die for" and I don't need to be treated so rudely especially for the price I pay for a simple...
Read moreI just love the food here. The only real complaint we have is the are no more servers bringing out your food. I understand the stupid pandemic changed a lot of things, but here's the complaint. The people that take your order are wonderful. But why do we have the option to tip them. I would not mind tipping someone who brings my food out to me (like before), but when you pay with a card you have the option (and I realize that 'option' is the key word here) to pay the gal who takes your order. Not only that, but there's another container that accepts cash tips right next to the register. That's almost as bad as tipping the cashiers at a fast food restaurant. I know Pandera has more class than that. And while we were there, a table left and left their dishes on the table. They were stacked nice and neat, but the gal who came out to wipe down the tables (and yes, she could have been a little more thorough) looked around and was a little disgusted that she actually had to pick them up. But to us, that was a minor detail. The major drop in stars was the tipping issue. But thank you for the...
Read moreWe ordered ahead on the app, but Sunday lunch was busy so they were quite a bit late with our food being ready. However, that was really the only negative. We all really enjoyed our salads, plus the chicken avocado melt (delicious!!), and broccoli mac and cheese. Prices are pretty good...$10-13 each.
Update: What can I say? I always love Panera! Some favorites are the Napa almond chicken sandwich and the chicken and wild rice soup, which conveniently are a value duet and therefore a great price for a full meal. I've also tried a smoothie here, and it was great and reminded me very much of a typical smoothie at Jamba or elsewhere. The chocolate chip cookies and the brownies are also great, and the most amazing thing is the kitchen sink cookie, but it's also 800 calories so beware hahaha. Definitely sign up with the MyPanera app, as you can get a free bakery item for your birthday. Every so often they also offer free or reduced price trials of their unlimited sip club membership, where you can get a free coffee, tea, caffeinated lemonade, or soft drink every two hours if...
