I came to this chick fil a to get my young son a chicken sandwich meal in celebration of getting his cast off. We went through the drive thru and I ordered three meals, but when we got home and unpacked the food, I noticed they had forgotten his sandwich. I called to let them know of their mistake but their way of making it up to me was to offer to give me the sandwich I already paid for and throw in a free side of fries and a drink, as long as I am able to come get it within 30 days. If it were mine, I wouldn’t have cared but because it was his and the whole point of us going in the first place was to celebrate his milestone, I informed them I would return immediately to get it. I also informed them that I live over 10 minutes away - not super far but far enough that by the time I made the round trip to retrieve it, my sandwich would be cold and soggy and basically inedible. They didn’t care. The only thing they were willing to offer me was a free side of fries and a drink. I informed them that no one in my household wanted more seed oil fried potatoes or high fructose corn syrup, so that’s not an offer that has any value to any of us. They said their hands were tied but they could also throw in a card for a free brownie or cookie that I could use at a later date. Again, not an offer of any value to me, as we typically don’t eat fast food and this was a special occasion. They asked if there was maybe another side I would be interested in so I asked for a salad. Upon my return, I was handed a bag and inside was my son’s chicken sandwich he should’ve eaten 30 minutes ago and a side of fries. I could’ve said something but I needed to get back home to get my boy his sandwich, so I just left. After finally sitting down to my own meal, 45 minutes later, I took one bite and realized my fears of it being cold and soggy were warranted. It tasted similar to what I assume the wrapper it came in would taste like. I did not eat it. I could not eat it. Also, no one touched a single fry from the free order. It all went into the trash, as did my expectations of chick fil A’s customer service. Perhaps my mistake was simply ordering anything from a fast food chain restaurant, but I just thought chick fil a was a little different. Well, it is. It’s...
Read moreI’ll cut them some slack because it’s a new establishment and they still need to figure out their systems. They forgot the sauce, straw, receipt, and napkins entirely and I only received my food and drink. The bread was stale, the fries weren’t salted, and I would have filled out the customer experience survey had I received my receipt with my order but I could not find the receipt in the bag at all. Overall mid, satisfied my hunger, but I will instead be going back to where I usually go, and that chick fil à had 4.6/5 stars for a reason. Hopefully they can get the systems figured out at this one soon, 3.9 will continue to drop if service remains like this. I don’t need a refund or anything I just want to see this establishment improve based off of customer feedback🫶 I look forward to seeing its progress in the...
Read moreI’ve been dealing with chic fil a for years now but I seem to have an issue with this particular location. I have a big family and it’s been 3 times where an item that I ordered was missing and all they offer is a cookie or a brownie. I ordered a two salads and had my wife pick it up on her way home. They forgot my dressing for one of the salads and laughed when I called about it. Another time I order meals for my family and they forgot a sandwich and fries. I called to inform them of the mistake and all they did was offer me a sandwich that I already paid for and a cookie or brownie. I live 10-15 minutes away depending on traffic. Not a far drive but far enough depending on the time of day....
