McDonald's — Restaurant in Upper Arlington

This is the absolute WORST McDonald's. Employees are beyond unprofessional and not even dressed in a uniform or wearing name tags. The management WILL NOT fix any issues and tell you "they can't help you."

Why are you in management if you lack the critical thinking skills to address store level issues? That's unacceptable.

If you go to this location be prepared to be talked down too by an extremely rude employee named "James" (if thats even his name, thats just the name his manager said when I asked for the corporate call I was about to make)

For me, the customer service experience was so horrendous. I asked for a discount and to speak with the manager, they told me I had to pay for my food first in order to speak with a manager. OK, weird. Paid for my food, and then management told me he couldn't do anything for me.

Then I got home, looked at my food, and so much of it was smashed, and the fries were cold and not even filled all the way. The happy meals and cola drinks (both fountain and frozen) were fine, but the majority of our food looks tampered with, no?

Don't waste your time or money here. Just go literally anywhere else. I'm so thrilled I wasted almost $50 on food my family and I couldn't even enjoy and have no idea if I'm going to be compensated.

10/10 do not recommend this...

I used the drive thru 9-9-2026 @11:02am. 3746 Riverside Dr. Columbus, Ohio 43221. I live Less than 3 minutes away from this restaurant. I ordered the fish sandwich meal. (which is what I always order). Upon getting my food as I started to driveway from the pick up window to grab a french fry, it was cold. I parked in a spot and went inside and asked for another order of fries. The lady was nice. Those were fresh hot! Now why werent they the first time? A drive-thru means you drive thru, get your food and on your way and expect good, hot food. Instead of getting your food, having to park, get out of your car go inside, and ask for a new order of food that is wrong in one way or another, then get back in your car and then finally drive away happy. I have had medium warm food before but never stopped to complain and ask for another. This time it was just too cold in order to eat. I always answer these questions just so everyone knows at least how one person's order was. Normally everything is good. Thank you...

Different visit. Same story. I ordered my sandwiches from somewhere else but get my fries here. I've learned that if you are not ordering during main eating hours your foods going to sit and be warm at best so I always get fried with no salt. I like to dip my fries in there tartar sauce, but they've now charge $0.35 for a tiny little container. So this time I asked for ketchup (got to ask for it. they never ask if you want it - hoping you forget) as they told me to pull up and wait for my fries. They drop it off quick and run inside. Of course no ketchup. They leave out everything they can except napkins. To top it all off this is the least friendly McDonald's around. They aren't rude, but they could smile a little. I could see she wasn't smiling as her mask was doing a great job...
