Oriental Pearl Restaurant — Restaurant in Upper Chichester Township

I’ve been coming here for probably at least a year or longer now and never ever leave disappointed! There hasn’t been even one single time that I’ve came here when the food wasn’t on point and absolutely perfect/delicious (and I’ve been here probably at least 100 times or more by now). I’ve been to basically every single Vietnamese restaurant in the area and in philly and nowhere compares to here! Before I found this place, I used to go to the best known places in philly like Pho Ha, Pho Saigon, Vietnamese Palace, etc. and always got the Pho but their broth was always watered down a lot of the time and flavorless depending on what time or day you go. Once I found out about Oriental Pearl, it instantly became my new one & only go to place and the fact that it’s super close to my house opposed to having to drive about 45 minutes or longer to get to philly makes it even better. The owners are absolutely amazing and sooo friendly! They treat you like family and always give the best service possible even when they’re super busy and the whole entire place is full, they still manage to give such quick and efficient service. They truly and genuinely care about making such fresh and amazing quality food and making sure their customers are always happy and satisfied! They know my whole family by our names and even what we usually order they have memorized since we come in so often and are always so welcoming and really care about getting to know their customers. I’ve never been to a restaurant that cares so much about their customers and making sure their food is top notch and that every customer is satisfied and enjoying their meals. I literally come here at least once every week or even more than once a week sometimes. I would come here every day if I could because the food is always consistent and amazing every single time! Hands down this is the best Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been to and their broth is absolutely amazing and so tasty!! Omgosh this place is amazing! The flavors are to-die-for! My daughter and I came across this place by an invitation to dinner. We loved it so much that I went back the next week!! First, we ordered the sampler platter with the different meats and shrimp. We honestly couldn't tell you which one we preferred more then the next! All were tender and packed with flavor! Next, we ordered the PHO/Soup and I truely can say this broth is unbelievably tasty that it keeps your flavor buds pleased long after you've finished your bite! Actually, the1 only thing thats left after your first bite, is you wanting more!!!.. Along with the PHO/Soup we were served the freshest basil, lime, and bean sprouts to sprinkle on top!. The amount of food is incredible! So come hungry!! Everything came super quick both times we were there. The staff was just lovely and eager to please. We can't wait to return! The food is great! It's a nice restaurant and very clean. Staff are kind and friendly. My complaint comes into play with anything left over, being packaged for to-go. My left over pho had extra meats in the remaining soup. Neither all of the meat nor all of the soup made it to my to go cup. I was stolen from as a result and paid extra for a product I did not get to take with me. Imagine my displeasure when I expect to enjoy the protein and broth for a simple lunch and not being able to.

Overall, better to eat in and eat everything you order. I do not know about the takeout, but the restaurant seems fairly popular sith pickups occurring through my dining experience.

Update: with finishing the leftovers, I had more pieces of fat that didn't exist in my bowl in the restaurant. I really hope I wasn't given some other patrons leftovers. This is disappointing and potentially disgusting.
