have to say something about my horrible experience on Saturday afternoon and it was the worst!!!! Some many things were wrong I have to list them for you to understand. I don't know how I kept myself for freaking out but I didn't want to make an unhappy time for my family.
It took a long time to get our drinks or any thing we ordered.
my daughter and I ordered blood Mary's and they were very bad. Because of time it took to get them the ice was melted on top there were no olives or anything like that, nothing but plain tomato juice and I guess vodka. When we tried to send them back the waiter said he can't take them back because we took a few sips out of them. So she ordered a beer and I asked for water and olives thinking I could make it better with olives and pepper. Never got the olives and had to ask for water a second time.
the food runner brought a sandwich and said it was crab cake which was my order . But it was not a crab cake it was a fried chicken sandwich. My boyfriend had ordered a grilled chicken dry so it had to be sent back.
My crab cake was the worst carb cake I ever had . If I had to give it a name I would call it a lukewarm under cooked crab pancake it was so mushy and no lump crab meat that I couldn't eat it. I tried two bits so I didn't try to send it back after what the waiter said about the drinks.
my boyfriend's chicken sandwich had to reordered since the wrong thing was brought out and he had to sit there for another 20 min waiting for it.
We were never given silver ware and had to ask for them after our appetizers came. the same with napkins and I had to ask for water twice.
It felt like no one knew what they were doing and the staff was incompetent. I think we were there for two hours and we all wished we had gone somewhere else. Even with such a bad experience I still tip 20% but I really hated spending so much money on such a bad meal so I have to...
Read moreOn Friday I attended Chickie's & Pete's for the Eagles game with my friends and my cousin. A couple of my friends was at the bar and me and cousin was at the table that seated what they said suppose to be ''a six person table''.There was a worker there I don't know what his job title was but he said he was the boss of the place he was real mean, rude, aggressive and nasty towards us every since the waitress had seated us at the table. So I had told the waitress that there is more person coming my girlfriend and my little sister there like 15mins away. We been seated at the table at 8:00 my cousin and I was sitting at the table for about 30mins with our food and drinks and at the time it was 8:37. At that time of 8:37 the boss or supervisor whatever his title is he came over grabbed my drinks and food and straight threw it on the table. The drinks and food got all over my shirt and my pants. The boss started yelling at me and my cousin tell us he is kicked us out of Chickie's and we have to leave. We did nothing wrong. The BOSS keep yelling ''get out yall time is up yall been here for 2 and a half hours but we only been seated for 30mis. I was embarrass and highly upset. When my cousin and I was being escorted out of Chickie's for no reason on I asked the so called BOSS who do I contact because we did nothing wrong he said '' Im the boss because my dad owns this place. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. When we was outside the place a guy came up to me and said that he sat 3 white people down while we was being escorted out. Now that is wrong and it made...
Read moreLast night was my 1st (and possibly last) time ever patronizing a Chickie & Pete's and it was HORRIBLE!!! THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD!!! Upon our arrival at 11:40pm, the host advised us we only had 5 minutes to order food because the kitchen was closing, despite closing time being listed as 2am. He then kept trying to push carry out on us, ignoring my fiancee repeatedly stating we'd sit at the bar. I felt like I was going thru a "Philadelphia Starbucks experience" and blacks weren't welcome. We had to outright ask if we weren't allowed to sit at the bar before he gave us menus and passage to the bar. The conversations heard while sitting at the bar with my extremely weak allegedly alcoholic drinks only furthered the unwelcoming feeling given at the door. Without efficient time to review the menu, my fiancee ordered the very basic/classic burger and fries. The fries came out 1st and were cold by the time the BURNT burgers arrived on their hard rolls. When the bartender/server came over asking how was the burgers, my fiancee's response was that we were gonna need more alcohol and I simply shot him a look of disapproval because I couldn't think of anything polite to say. He offered no comforting or apologetic words and neither did the hostess when I straight up told him my 1st time at the chain was turning out HORRIBLE!!! I'm not sure if the unwelcoming feeling was a "Philadelphia Starbucks" thing but I do know I'll never choose to patronize any Chickie & Pete's again and will probably discourage anyone I know from doing...
