Ordered late, approximately 11:45pm on Monday, April 2, 2018. The person taking my order was patient (I asked for a couple of minutes to decide) and sounded friendly. Took my order perfectly and asked if I'd like anything else. He invited me to pull around and processed my payment, thanking me and wishing me a good night.
Then I sat patiently as the van in front of me waited for something. I didn't mind. Then, as time went on, perhaps a couple of minutes, I watched the clock. Five minutes later, the window opened and a bag was handed to the driver. I waited seven-plus minutes to get to the serving window after paying for my food.
My food was warm (Big Mac and small fry) but my sundae seemed fine, not melted. I pulled around to eat as I hadn't had anything to eat since noon, but was wondering why the van was not asked to pull up to wait. At first I was the only vehicle waiting. By the time I pulled up, there were three vehicles (that I could see, since it turned the corner) behind me. They probably could have served at least two of us in that timeframe.
Is there less staff before closing time? Perhaps the chill in the air (41°), doing other duties, or lack of motivation? I'll never know for sure. What I do know is the positivity I felt from the friendly service was not enough to cover the wait, which seems substantial for "fast" food. When I finally got to the window there was no apology for the wait, which would have been appreciated, simply by acknowledging that I had been kept waiting.
So what was potentially a five star experience was knocked down to three. Perhaps if it hadn't been late and I wasn't tired and hungry, I would not feel this way. However, I think during the day the van would have been asked to pull up to wait...
Read moreI drive through here every morning and every morning the line is 5 to 6 cars long while Julie performs her morning talk show routine "Hi my name is Julie and I'll be taking your order this morning what can I get you?" You can get me a new drive thru attendant cause I don't care who you are I just want my food so I can get to work on time!! She then takes your order and reads the items back to you , gives you the grand total, "Is that correct?" and asks you to "please drive around to the first window." When you get there she continues taking orders while you wait for her to take your money. She cannot obviously chew gum and walk at the same time. She then thanks you for coming in and wishes you a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Lovely Wednesday, Thirsty Thursday- whatever before hoping you come again. Well if you don't get rid of her I won't Not what anyone wants to hear at 7am or any time of day to be truthful....
Read moreThe students that you allow to be in there are a real problem. I've been physically pushed trying to navigate through to the door just to get out, causing hot coffee to spill on my hands. They jump on the tables like animals. They seriously JUMP ON TABLES. I'm not exaggerating. They're beyond rude and very disrespectful toward anyone. They beat each other up (I think they're "playing" but it doesn't matter) as I've been knocked into while sitting at a table because of their antics. You really need to do something about it. I'm not coming anymore. Can't even get in the place because they're so ignorant that they won't even move out of the way just a little bit to allow customers to get to the counter. Do something about it. Don't allow them in....
